I have been looking forward to staying here my whole life. I will be honest, it was a little disappointing.we stayed in January, which in my opinion is one of the quietest times of the year. The room we got was overlooking the sides of neighbouring buildings. I was hoping for an actual view of eyre square. The room lighting was very poor. There didn’t seem to be any nice touches. Everything was quiet basic.

Nice hotel in a brilliant location. Breakfast was excellent on day 1, full Irish... quality fry up... went for the pancakes day 2... disappointing... wife went for the omelette which was tasty but for some strange reason carried a €3 supplement... the Hardiman is a quaint, old hotel, steeped in character and tradition. The location is brilliant for the city centre and literally a minute from the train station. All in all, a good experience. Highly recommended.

Stayed at The Hardiman just after St. Stephen's Day and really enjoyed the service, ambience and our room. Prior to arrival, we asked the concierge if he could help us book a restaurant as we were finding it difficult to reserve during new restrictions and when our first choice was unavailable he provided 5 alternative options over email which was very thoughtful. We also drove to the hotel and the valet parking was fantastic and well worth the price. Our room was a junior executive and it included a Christmas tree which really gave it a festive spirit within and very spacious for 2 persons to enjoy a nice getaway. Some feedback is that the water pressure in our room could be a lot higher and water to be slightly more hotter but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and the room service to provide us a toothbrush and for our breakfast the next morning was excellent.

I really appreciate the staff turning a blind eye at times. #Dontdodrugskids
