This charming old Galway hotel, steeped in history, has some terrific modern amenities, too, like the gym and spa, where you can get a massage, remove the coastal chill in a sauna or soak in the rooftop hot tub while taking in the sights of the city and bay. Excellent location, close to everything but far enough from the fray...

The Hotel Meyrick is a lovely old hotel within steps of the train station and Eyre park. We had a junior suite which was very spacious and well appointed with a sitting room, dining area, sleeping area and large bathroom. The service was attentive, and none of our requests went unmet. You have to try the seafood chowder---it's not to...

I stayed one night in this hotel while attending a wedding. The staff were wonderful and my room was ready early so I was able to change for the wedding in comfort. The room itself was on a quiet side road. The lighting was excellent unlike many hotels where reading can be difficulty without sitting under a light source. There...

Lovely hotel, very professional staff. Stayed in a beautiful suite room overlooking the square. Will be back. One small observation that seemed to contrast the quality of the place; The toilet paper is cheap & thin.. a small thing but I would replace this as manager.

Room was beautiful, large and clean with a massive king bed, mini bar was...

We had a very disappointing experience. The room was very dark and much too warm (with no way to adjust the temperature) Our room was to the front of the hotel so we had taxi trafic including honking and taxi driver conversation noise until past midnight. No robes or slippers were provided to use the spa although some other guest...

The service at the Hotel Meyrick is definitely 4 star. They have a very professional and helpful staff. The room I had overlooking Eyre Square was actually quite quiet and I was there on a busy holiday weekend (St. Patrick's Day). The room itself was disappointing. Though it was spacious, the bathroom was small. The drapes and furniture were surprisingly...

My stay at the Meyrick was a mixed one. On arrival there seemed to be a wedding or wedding reception happening and when I tried to get through the front door I was surprised how difficult it was due to the volume of people standing around smoking which in turn I inhaled more stale smoke than needed. When I finally...
