Marless has received Certificates of Excellence from TripAdvisor year after year. I can see why after our stay in August. Location cannot be beat, less than a block from the promenade! Her house is beautifully decorated. We booked two rooms, one family room and one room on the ground floor with a garden view for my elderly mother-in-law. Our rooms... More

We stayed here with our 3 adult children and we absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. The accommodations were beautiful and our hosts couldn't have been more gracious, helpful, and interesting. We arrived mid-morning to see if we could stash our luggage before spending the day in Galway. We were warmly welcomed and our hosts even offered (and... More

Lovely home, lovely room with everything you might need....great breakfast with lots of variety! But what set this B&B apart was Mary, our hostess. She is the epitome of a wonderful hostess! She knows exactly what welcoming hospitality should be like. Thank you, Mary, for helping to make Ireland and the Galway area so memorable!!!

When I asked Mary how long she has had a B and B she informed it was over 40 years! I was not surprised. She has it down to s science but its not a business, its a passion for meeting people and making them feel at home in Galway. We arrived, rang the doorbell and Mary came to greet... More

We recently had a family reunion in Galway, it was the Bank Holiday weekend and the end of race week, a busy time for all in the hospitality business. We were greeted on arrival by the proprietor, what a lady, she showed us to our room and had tea waiting for us in the sitting room within minutes! Our room... More

The location of The Marless House was amazing - right along the promenade of Salthill, which allowed for beautiful and easy morning runs along the ocean and leisurely walks into Galway during the afternoon and evening. Mary and Tom we wonderful - giving us great tips on where to go and what to see. We enjoyed talking to them, getting... More

A wonderful place to stay ! I cannot say enough. Mary and Tom are so gracious and helpful. I felt like we had known each other for a while in the short time we stayed there. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious. It is located across from the Bay, which makes for a pleasant walk in the evening along the water. Very... More

We stayed in a large family room and liked it a lot. The room was very clean and the B&B is extremely family-friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our tip to Ireland. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 nights at Marless House B&B and wished we could have stayed longer. Mary was so welcoming and gave us so much helpful information about the area and how to get around. She even drew us a map to get us to the Community Center so we could do some family history research. The breakfast had so many... More

I had the feeling that Mary has been running this B&B for many years. And it looks so effortless, but we know that running a good establishment is no walk in the park. Marless House is a substantial home in an excellent location with quality furnishings. Very close to The Promenade at Salthill in a pleasant neighbourhood that makes for... More
