First and foremost, Mary is a wonderful hostess. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed she was genial, attentive, and gracious. Actually, I should revise that: Mary started being wonderful long *before* we arrived. I sent a crazy number of emails before we'd even left the States -- do you have hairdryers in the rooms? (Yes!). Do...

Mary & her husband Irish hospitality if the finest you will find anywhere in Ireland and their breakfast is the "Icing On The Cake". We stayed three nights at Marless House B&B and it was an unforgettable experience and that was just the B&B! I have lived and traveled over 35yrs overseas all over the World and my expectations were...

If you are looking for a place to stay in Galway, this is it. We can not say enough great things about Mary and Marless House. Mary is just the best. The location is ideal. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well accomodated. There is a sitting room (think living room) to sit and read a book or just...

Mary and Tom were absolutely wonderful hosts. Their home is lovely, our bed was very comfortable, and the location near the ocean was just perfect. Mary gave us excellent suggestions for places to go visit. The spread she does for breakfast is just awesome. A great selection of delicious food and if you leave hungry it's your own fault! This...

Marless House B&B in Galway is incredible. The house is lovely, the rooms are homey and the hosts are beautiful. They're so helpful, and I have yet to stay at any accommodation with a better breakfast (it's seriously insanely awesome). Will definitely be going back.

This was not our first visit to Marless House (and we hope it won't be our last!). Mary is a great host who welcomes you like an old friend. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts plentiful and the fabulous Salthill Prom just a short distance away for early morning walks and sunset strolls. We walked to dinner in Salthill (quite...

My daughter, studying at UL for a semester, and I visited Galway for four nights. We found the location perfect - bus stop at the end of the street. Breakfasts were delicious and the home is lovely. Mary and Tom built this house as a B&B, and it shows. They have thought of a visitors' needs in so many ways....

Four 50-somethings stayed here as our "base of operations" during our 3 days in Galway. It is not within easy walking distance of downtown Galway which is both a plus and a minus. It is on the bus route which was very convenient. Good on-site parking, good bedrooms, the best breakfast and very helpful/friendly owners makes this a great choice....

Mary was the perfect hostess for our stay in her lovely home in Salthill. We were served hot tea and a sweet upon our arrival. It is conveniently located a short walk to the beach and the promenade. She made us reservations for the ferry to Inish Mor and gave us directions. The breakfasts were amazing. Delicious. Large portions. You...

I am wirting on the behalf on my parents who stayed at the Marless House last week of October. As I booked for them the bed & breakfast (I am living in Dublin and they were visiting me), I looked on the internet for a lovely B&B with nice reviews. I have finally chosen the Marless House and was expecting...
