My partner and I spent two nights at the Ash Grove Guest House in Galway on the recommendation of a friend. We now owe Martin a nice dinner as his advice was perfect. Great location 15 minutes' walk from the city's historic district. Very friendly and helpful staff, well-appointed comfy room, tastefully furnished, reasonably priced. We had rented a car...

I stayed in the Ash Grove last weekend. If was absolutely lovely. The rooms were comfortable and clean and had all the facilities needed. The breakfasts were gorgeous, well presented!and served with a smile. The lady who runs the place and the other staff there were so lovely, welcoming and attentive! 15 minute walk from central Galway and about 20...

It was just right for my needs as I was working in the Galway Hospital. The whole property was lovely and clean and well maintained. The owner was welcoming as well as the breakfast waitress. Both breakfasts were delicious - Day 1 I had Full Irish and Day 2 I Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. On day 2 the owner...

Great B&B. So handy for the hospital across the road and only a short walk to town. Spotlessly clean. Warm, homely and welcoming. Could not have asked for more and the best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted! Would highly recommend.

The location if you have someone in Galway Univ Hospital couldn't be better. It is literally across the street. The room and WC were tiny but en suite and very clean, and we didn't need much. The breakfasts are really delicious. Angela is so pleasant, helpful and kind. Limited off street parking (4 spaces) and free Wi-Fi. Restaurants, a pub,...

I stayed here as I was visiting my sister in Galway Hospital. The property is only a minute or so from the hospital but also very well situated for both university and town centre. Angela could not have been kinder or more helpful to me or to my brother and sister who stayed subsequently. Her advice on getting around the...

When we arrived we discovered that the on site parking was minimal and so opted to park in the street. Angela gave us a warm welcome and showed us to a small but very clean upstairs room. There was a single and a double bed, but as the double was against the wall I opted to sleep in the single....

A warm welcome from Angela when we arrived. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, we went for the full Irish but other options available, walking distance to centre of town. Good advice on restaurants etc from Angela. Would definitely stay here again.
