Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Angela Martyne was an incredible host along with her wonderful staff. Everything was perfect for our weekend away. The booking was so easy to do. I phoned and all my questions were answered over the phone. The room was very clean. Breakfast was large and very tasty. Thank you Angela we hope to return at a later date. Great value for money. You definitely get 10/10 from us.

A perfectly quaint place to stay from the ivy-covered house to the adorable, cozy rooms. The breakfast is delicious and everyone who works at Ash Grove was incredibly kind and accommodating. An easy 10-20 minute walk to most things in Galway. Can't recommend enough.

The room was clean and warm, we found everything we needed. They had no problems with our late check-in (23.30) and the next day they kept our baggage all day long. Breakfast was very good and generous. People were very nice to us! The Christmas vibe was exciting!

We stayed at the Ash Grove House for two nights. We felt so home there, it was amazing! The staff was super nice and welcoming, the breakfast was made with so much love (you could choose from a few options, but also ask for extras). The rooms were very clean, the bathroom modern. Would definitely recommend!

What a great find in Galway. Within walking distance of the town centre and on the road to Connemara or to Salthill. The B and B is very clean and well organised. The breakfast choices were great and plentiful. All in all, a great place to stay for a few days.

We arrived as weary travelers following on from our trip around the south west. We were given an immediate feeling that this was a very well run b&b. These guys know what they’re doing! Well worth the money the location was spot on. We would go back again if we were staying in Galway.
