Our host was very lovely and helpful. A very welcoming home with spacious rooms overlooking the bay (which our host gave us nicely upon our request). Breakfast was great as well. Would definitely recommend!

Mrs Burke was a fantastic host and the accommodations were excellent; roomy and very practical use of space. We arrived early but were warmly welcomed with a pot of tea and friendly banter. Our room had wonderful sea views towards Salthill and because of the location, we had easy walking access to both Galway and Salthill. We highly recommend the...

Lynburgh B&B is situated a 10 minute walk from the city centre, therefore very practical if you travel without car. The room was clean, the shower with enough pressure and the bed very comfortable. We had a fantastic view over Galway Bay. The breakfast is excellent and served in an elegant room by the host herself. She is very friendly...

Yes I know there are people on here winging about the decor and it is a bit 70s/80s but you can clearly see that in the pics advertising the place so its no suprise. The host is very friendly and she booked us a cab to get into town and told us a couple of 'to watch out fors'. The...

During my Ireland-trip, i spent one night in Galway at the Lynburgh. The host was nice, very friendly and helpful. She tries very hard to make your stay as good as possible. The room was sufficient, everything was clean. the breakfast was good. The location was great, a 15-minutes-walk away from the city centre of Galway. If you do not...

Stayed here with a friend for one night here over Easter - although the facilities are a little dated and the decor will not be to everyone's taste, the welcome and friendliness of the owners more than makes up for it! Perfect location next to Salt Hill (although it was rather wet and wild when we were there) and within...

The outside looks fine but when you see the rooms, it is like going back in time to a college dorm. Complete with an antique 14" TV, dim lighting, carpet-less floors and a list of rules on the door, we could not be more disappointed. Yes it is within walking distance of downtown (hence the 2 stars) but after a...

It is at a very good location and easy walk to both downtown and the beach. It was spotless and Theresa was very helpful with trips and advice for restaurants and shops. She is a broker for the Aran Island (Inishmore) trip and was able to arrange our trip and pick up by the bus just outside the B &...

This B&B wa more like a cheap motel than the typical warm, charming B&Bs that we had encountered elsewhere in Ireland. The rooms were clean, but small and spartan. The breakfast was generous in neither variety nor quantity. The one thing that this property has in its favor is location...right at the end of the Promenade.

This B&B has a good location with an easy walk to the shore and to city center. After a long day of driving in Ireland, walking to a restaurant felt so good. There was plenty of easily accessible parking. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but perfunctory: There was a full Irish breakfast but the bacon was strangely...
