We found this hotel has something which the bigger 4 star hotels is lacking. The customer service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Again a far better breakfast than you get in other hotels. Things like a bottle of water in the room on arrival really adds to your stay. The location is just ideal. The only thing that...

Excellent hotel, great service and friendly staff. Stayed for a weekend with my boyfriend and it was so close to shops, nightlife, restaurants etc. Lovely looking hotel very stylish, and got some free cocktails always a bonus!

This is one of my favourite hotels. The decor is fab and really makes you feel at home. The food is excellent and the cocktails are lovely and made with such attention to detail! The staff are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Don't hesitate to stay/eat/drink here it really is one of Galways treasures ☺

Arrived late afternoon during the Oster Festival 2014 and got the last deluxe queen room, very spacious and comfortable and not too expensive compared with standard. Staff couldn't be more helpful, the bar, room service and breakfast which was inclusive were all excellent. Recommend it, we love it!

I stayed here over the Christmas break. I live in Aberdeen and decided to have a break in Galway. I checked several other hotels in Galway but I found the service and atmosphere as soon as you walked in to be most welcoming at The House Hotel. The decor is amazing and truly helps you to switch off from the...

Stayed at the House Hotel for two nights over New Years. The décor of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's not very large, smaller than I expected but gorgeous! They have a lovely bar that serve amazing cocktails and a very swanky restaurant onto the bar. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful even helping us to choose a...

Great location only 30 seconds from the city centre. Great food - breakfast is great and plentiful. The staff are well trained and very attentive and the rooms are beautifully designed, if a little on the small size. Overall - highly recommend as the best galway has to offer at a reasonable price

We we lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe double (room 205) and had a balcony with a view of the harbour. Bed was big and comfortable and kept us asleep till the alarm went off. Quay street is just around the corner which is full of bars and restaurants and live music everywhere. Try the cocktails at the...

We booked the hotel on a last minute New Years adventure and ended up staying 2 nights! The hotel is always busy and up to something which is always great. Bright colours greet you in the relaxed lobby - make sure you lounge on the huge pink sofa! Our room was upgraded to a deluxe double with a balcony, it...

What a great place to meet friends and celebrate the New Year. Band was really good, bar service excellent and an atmosphere you couldn't beat. We were able to dance and more around in comfort as some other establishments were overcrowded and uncomfortable. The hotel got it just right.
