Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first time to Ireland and first time ever staying in a B&B. We loved It! We only stayed a night and our room was Lovely! The bed was so comfortable, too! Anna answered all of our questions about what to do and how to get into Galway once we arrived. We only stayed one night but Steven and Anna let us keep our luggage there while we explored Galway in the late morning/early afternoon before catching a bus to Shannon so we could fly home the next day. They even made sure a taxi was waiting for us to take us And all our luggage to the bus statiob. And breakfast was wonderful and she put out quite a spread! We had fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh scones and bread! And the scones were delicious! I would absolutely recommend staying here. And you cannot beat the view!

We have spent four days and nights in Ireland before to come to the Claremont house. This bed and breakfast has been the best place we have been to so far in our tour; I couldn’t imagine no better place to spend the night in Galway!
Anna is the owner of the b&b and she is the cutest and friendliest person on earth! She allowed us to check in after the check in deadline (we were tremendously late on our trip from Northern Ireland) and she made us feel immediately at ease and ‘at home’. The room was fabulous, I have never seen so high-quality and soft towels and bed sheets in my life. The breakfast was homemade and out of this world! The only thing I regret is not to have booked this room for more days! There is good WiFi connection and everything was deeply clean and well-finished. But the best durning our stay has been for sure the lovely company of Anna!

When we arrived in the evening, we were tired & hungry! But we were immediately taken under Anna's wing & soon rejuvenated!! She drove us (in her car) to a nearby restaurant where we were able to relax & had a delicious meal. We took a leisure stroll back to the B&B & slept well in the very comfortable bed. We could tell that this B&B proprietor has had many years of experience & was a seasoned veteran! The accommodations were lovely & the breakfast was delicious--she was very nurturing & took time to patiently answer questions & help us on our journey! We would recommend this B&B, for sure!!

Anna was a lovely host and the B&B was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! It is not in central Galway so just make sure you have a car, otherwise it is very convenient to go anywhere around Galway

Anna and Stephen have a lovely B&B, and they provide the extra touches that make a stay special. I was delighted to find fluffy white bathrobes hanging behind the door after a long day's journey, and bottles of water waiting for us. In the morning, I turned over my teacup to find a chocolate surprise. These are but a few of the extra special touches that Anna provides to make her guests feel welcome and at home.

We stayed for three nights. The accommodation is spotless and room very comfortable. Beautiful fluffy white towels and bath robes. Anne is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended and will definitely return if fortunate enough to be in the area. Breakfast first class. Thanks Anne.

chose to stay just outside the city at Salthill overlooking Galway Bay. Great choice. Accomodation was perfect. A bed to sink into, clean with a warm welcome from Anna. Anna bakes her own brown bread and scones which she serves with breakfast. Yes the room is on the small side as stated in some reviews but what more do you want its a B&B. I would always choose comfortable bed and good food over room size. Keep up the excellent standards Anna

My cousin and I stayed for 2 nights and had a grand time. Anna, Steve and the whole family were amazing and sweet. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are spotless. The morning oatmeal, amazing, just like my grandmother made!!! A clear view of Galway Bay and easy access to a few dinner choices or a walk along the sea side.
