Finished two nights at this B&B and loved it! The location was great, the rooms clean and the food delicious!! Also, the beds! They were wonderful! The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and available to answer questions! As previously stated by another traveller, the bathroom was very tiny and difficult to use, however don't let that discourage you from...

Spent 1 night in Galway, room clean and pretty; bathroom very very little with shower (sink so little that is almost not usable). Owners very kind. Breakfast good but not so good as some b&b found in the north.

This was our first experience for a bed and breakfast. The hosts did a wonderful job and provided very great service to us. They had a menu to choose your breakfast off of. Breakfast was delicious! We asked for good places to eat some dinner at and they named some wonderful places to try! Would definitely recommend this B&B.

Almara house was amazing. Matt and Marie treated us like family and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room as beautiful, very very clean and more like a hotel room. Our breakfast was amazing, very tasty but the presentation is what really impressed us. Every detail was perfect. Overall a fantastic stay.

5/5 for this guest house near to galway centre. Mat and Mary are so nice and generous. The room is perfect : king size bed, television, bathroom... The breakfast is goergous and fabulous. Stomach full garantis ! I recommend to 100%. You can go with closed eyes. PERFECT !

Easy to find and received a warm welcome from hosts Matthew and Marie. Room was very clean and neat even though it was upstairs. We were driving ourselves around Ireland but if you wanted to avail yourself of public transport it was readily available to the town. Breakfast was very nice and Matthew served the meals to all the guests...

The little things really impressed me. Making sure you're full at breakfast, having any kind of tea or coffee you could want, etc. So thoughtful and attentive! The epitome of Irish hospitality. Matt and Marie are two little gems!

We stayed last night at Almara House and it was perfect. The room was very clean and tidy, we had a delicious breakfast and the hosts were really nice to us (they even drove us to the rental car place!). I would really recommend anyone to spend their holidays at Almara!

Marie looked after us so well. We caught the bus into Galway. The bus stop was right outside. So easy. Marie clearly explained how much it cost and where to catch the bus back. Push the stop button just after the College. Very comfy. Beautiful breakfast.

Stayed here two nights. The owners were welcoming and quick to help you with activities around Galway. The breakfast was hearty and plenty of room in the dining area. Ease of access was also a great benefit to staying here. Right on the main drag, yet still a quiet stay.

Thank Jerry D
