Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was attending a recent business event in Galway and stayed at this hotel. Overall this is a clean and efficient hotel with friendly staff and I would rate this at overall as a decent experience. One highlight to note was the young lady at Reception who checked me in was extremely efficient and very friendly as well as helpful with information on transport to our Restaurant in town Only had the Cooked Breakfast there so cannot comment on the food other than to say the Breakfast was pretty good.

The hotel was fine, and the rooms were much larger than your usual hotel across the pond. The rooms were clean, and the staff were pleasant. I think the hotel is suffering with staff shortages much like almost every other business. Because of this we did not have our room cleaned every day - our choice. The only negative is that the air conditioning was very tricky and did not cool the room very well. Two other positives are that the hotel is only about a five minute walk to Dunnes, a large supermarket chain, and in front of the hotel, you can catch a bus (407, I believe) into the center of Galway. The cost is 1.90 Euros but you can give the driver a two Euro coin with no problem.

Stayed here for a business trip. Very good modern hotel. Room was very big and had all that you need. Beds were very comfortable and the room temperature system worked well. Bathroom was spacious. It is a big hotel and well maintained. Had a meal at the restaurant and it was very nice. The staff is polite and helpful. Will definitely recommend this as a very good option.

This is a good 3 Star hotel. Breakfast was well done with many selections with wait staff trained giving good service. We booked a suite and the furniture was old and not a very comfortable/ inviting sitting area for the extra cost. Bedroom remodeled but the bathroom in need of a redo. View from the room overlooked a building of flats/ their windows and a shopping center parking lot. Front desk staff most welcoming/ professional/ polite/ helpful also acting as concierge service. There were 2 large coach tours when we visited so the hotel bar, dining and lobby busy. Room clean as well as the halls and the entire hotel.

I enjoyed an overnight stay recently. Comfortable room with all the necessary facilities. Overall a very clean room and facilities. Nice selection of breakfast items. I noted only bread for toasting available. I would have appreciated a selection of brown bread as not everyone likes toast. There were croissants etc. I would also appreciate a Coffee machine offering coffee options. It was not clear from the menu or staff if coffee options were available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only blip was while at reception to pick up my keys. It was assumed I stayed there before and I had to ask where the room lifts were & breakfast location the next day. Online check in and booking systems for breakfast & dinner very helpful and user friendly. Car park had ample spaces. Over all a very pleasant experience. Look forward to staying there again.

Food was good. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection. Only 3 complaints, one it wasn’t close to the city center, noisy because of traffic and on the backside was a petro station/store. The overhang for the pumps were outside my window with a view of pigeon droppings. Pigeons also roosted there at night. Reservations were made by tour company. Hotel supplied us with a bag breakfast on day we had an early check out

A large, business type hotel, located in a commercial area, 20min outside the centre of Galway. A number of shops are located in the same area. The hotel has a restaurant, pub & gym and an underground car park. There is a bus service from just down the road, into the city but the busses did not appear to run all that often. Our double room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated, with a modern bathroom, containing a powerful shower. Tea and coffee was provided but no bottled water. The wifi was free and there was a good wifi signal, capable of supporting streaming, VoIP calls etc. There are plenty of sockets, a large TV and hairdryer. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of cooked and cold. Tables, for meals, need to be booked in advance, either via their website or at Reception.

Stayed for the week of the races for business. Staff were lovely and friendly. Saoirse was amazing, extremely helpful and welcoming to me and all my colleagues for the 7 days and words couldnt describe her hospitality. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.
