Rooms were a good size for families, however, there was a really strong smell of damp in the room we stayed in. Also, a fire alarm went off early in the night just as my toddler had gone to sleep which woke him and took a while to get him back to sleep.. the alarm was a false alarm.

We stayed in the hotel on the 01st of Oct, after completing the Galway bay run. The food, the friendlessness of the staff and leisure facilities were excellent. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The noise level from the wedding was loud, however it finished at 2am so that wasn't to bad. Enjoyed my stay a lot.

have stayed here several times and always enjoyed my stay. great location, great staff, great breakfast. try to get a room with a sea view, well worth it. I had issues once with noise from a wedding so get a room on the third floor if possible.

Expected more from this well establised hotel. Basics seemed to be over looked. Great location but overall appearance of the hotel is disappointing. Didn't get value for money. Bar is nice and quite busy.

We had a very good stay. Hotel was nice and well located. Staff were helpful. One minor pointed we looked for lower pillow. The staff tried to assist with this. I would recommend the hotel to friends,

The hotel is beautiful, right across the street from the ocean and next door to a lovely park. It has the full amenities of a huge pool, sauna jacuzzi, and a kids play pool, as well as a large gym. Our room was lovely and very comfortable; the staff friendly and helpful. We were just delighted with our time there.

The location of this hotel on Galway Bay is lovely. It's a bit of a walk into city centre, but taxis are readily available as needed. Room was comfortable; food very average. Service at reception was excellent - helpful and friendly. However, service in the bar was terribly inefficient. Service at breakfast was consistently horrible. Frankly, we felt invisible. This...

I really enjoyed my stay here in this hotel which is a great location on the sea front. The swimming pool and sauna/steam room facilities were very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there was a good breakfast.
