Just stopped in for a quick pint and bite before catching the Dublin train because it is the closest establishment. The pint was fine. The pizza was terrible. Would never order it again. Staff was fine.

Stayed for two nights for a birthday trip away. After reading the latest reviews before we went we were expecting the worst. Silly us! Room was small clean, tidy and had every thing we needed. The staff especially Fiona were brilliant. Helpful and attentive. We had a car and there are car parks you can book near by but the hotel...

Went in for a meal on a recommendation, waited for a half hour for a roast beef then the waitress said Oh I wont be a minute. Obviously forgotten. Laid two plates of uncooked vegetables and inedible meat. When the vegetables were asked to be recooked we received the whole plate microwaved and the beef couldnt be cut.

The hotel located next to central square with many pubs and pizza that open 24 hours. The hotel has a good bar with live music and free wifi. There's no separate reception, the reception is at the bar. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was big.

Lunch was a great time to drop in. Good selection of beers and great food. A friendly crowd of locals and visitors. We selected a variety of foods and all were good reasonably priced. Great location at the side of the square.

Located right on Eyre Square in downtown Galway, minutes from more Irish pubs than you can count, Garvey's Inn not only provides location and a feel of a neighborhood "local," but the staff makes you feel welcome. Downstairs is an intimate pub, complete with music (traditional Irish musicians Mondays and Tuesdays), and the hotel itself is exactly what a visitor...

This hotel is sub-standard and has not seen a coat of paint for many a long year. It is overpriced and is more like a hostel. Very disappointed altogether will definitely not be recommending this hotel to friends or family. Only good thing was the location. Give this place a wide berth if you want value for money.

Right beside train/coach station and Eyre Square, rooms are dated but clean, booked a twin room but judging by the layout I think it was a single with another bed squeezed in not much room to get around... One small thing also although not a major thing but annoying is the hairdryer very old would work for 3/4 seconds then...

Spent one night at Garvey's Inn in Galway recently. Located right on Eyre Square. Was a lovely pub and rooms were clean and bright. Bathroom was more spacious that any place else we stayed. While the hotel entrance is through the pub, is it no problem at all.. Girls at the bar were extremely helpful with anything we needed. Had...

From the moment we put our bags down I wish we were staying somewhere else. I stayed out as late as possible to avoid going back to that room. If you are like me that doesn't think of a hotel as "just a place to sleep" then run far far away from this hotel. My cousin booked 2 beds. When...
