This is a pub with rooms...noisy and way overpriced. On check out complained about the room and noise and was told they would reduce the bill. But they charged my credit card with the full amount and when I phoned they claimed they could not reduce the amount because it had been booked through booking.com! Really awful customer service..DO NOT...

We loved Garvey's Inn. Great location! Friendly staff. The view from our room was nice, over Eyre Square. We will definitely stay here again. We enjoyed walking around time. Our meal was great in the bar.

Ideal spot located across the road from the train station and on Eyre square. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was very clean and ideal for what we wanted. The music downstairs was not traditional Irish music, but was great Craic and attracted a huge crowd. Although the music was just downstairs, we could not hear it in...

Had a night here on the way through Galway. Very friendly helpful and pleasant staff and lovely central location. It's not the Hilton but perfectly adequate for our needs. Felt a little bit dated but everything was clean and tidy. Street front rooms can get a bit of noise so might pay to ask for a room higher up than...

Perfect location just 3 mins from coach station and railway station. Booking.com warned about noisy surroundings but It wasn't the case, very quiet comfortable sleep. All amenities including iron and iron board. Bathroom needs some renovation but it works well. Very clean. No internet in rooms, only in bar area.

Located 2 minutes from train and bus station and next to Eyre Square. Old world bar with live music. Staff professional and extremely helpful. Room small but very clean with essentials such as kettle hair dryer etc. As Garveys is located in the city centre there is plenty of noise outside. Would recommend this inexpensive establishment and would certainly stay...

Myself and my husband spent 3 midweek nights here. Even though there was live music each night downstairs it did not interfere with our sleep in a very cosy bed. The room was basic but clean with a great view over Eyre Square. We did not eat or drink in the bar this time but have on previous occasions. It...

Just went in to get a quick meal before hopping a train back to Dublin. The Hawaiian sandwich was excellent, the bread had a wonderful flavor and texture. I didn't have any euros on me, so even though my meal was under the card limit, they allowed me to use my card with no fuss. Then, once back in Dublin...

Great choice of food, good service, decent menu, great tasting food. Very reasonable price, just across from Eyre Square Hotel. Live band playing on the night, great atmosphere for start to our weekend away.

Stayed here for two nights in a twin room with a friend of mine down in Galway for graduations. Friendly staff and nice food were a big plus. Noise is to be expected taking into account where the building is situated. However I had a couple of issues with the room. Firstly, on the first morning we woke up to...
