We had a very interesting and wonderful stay in a hotel with new experiences, we met new friends, enjoyed great food and cocktails, relaxed in the spa... in a couple of weeks I'm coming back with my husband for a romantic stay... I warmly recommend this hotel to everyone
We decided to return after 10 years - pre kids 🤣. This time a family break. Again absolutely beautiful hotel and mostly like we still remember it. Warm, cosy rooms/ beds and nice staff. The bathrooms and showers were ideal. Having a bathroom that a family can nearly get the the whole family showered and in the bath around the same time is a life saver 🤣. Meals Breakfast - absolutely 10/10 for service and quality. Dinner - 7/10. Unfortunately for me the seafood chowder wasn't seafood chowder. It was vegetable soup with seafood in it. No cream, lacked taste. Although the overall service was great there was definitely a disconnect between the order the waiting staff took and what was served. Example...having to re-ask for a drink, certain foods etc. In all would we return...yes 100%. Fir the price I'd like to see a little more attention paid to our orders. Thanks folks. See yous soon.…
Just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at the g hotel galway. Everything from check in to check out was top class. Staff amazing . There was a slight issue with our room which was dealt with promptly and we were given an upgrade to an amazing lakeview suite. Thanks to Karolina who was of great assistance to us throughout our stay.We truly appreciate everything you did for us. I wish I knew all the names but each member of the team were outstanding.from the lady who attended us for the afternoon tea on thursday to the people doing breakfast in the mornings. This hotel should be very proud of its employees .Thanks for the welcome plate in the room for my friends birthday she was really touched by this gesture. Also tried the spa which was top class as well
Wonderful staff; helpful and hit exactly the right balance between service and friendliness. Breakfast was delicious. Room overlooking the coast was really comfortable and warm. Bed was amazing, one of the best night’s sleep in a long time!
I recently stayed two nights at the G hotel in Galway to surprise my partner for their birthday. Prior to arrival, I informed the staff of our recent engagement we would also be celebrating during our stay. Upon check in, we were welcomed graciously by Sara. Whom informed us of a complimentary upgrade for our celebrations. The Atrium Suite was a luxurious stay with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lough Atalia and Galway city. The attentive and kind staff continuously made our experience all the more special throughout our stay. Dinner and drinks at Gigi’s were thoughtfully delicious. Compliments to our bartender JP, whom created beautifully balanced cocktails with courteous conversations; along side staff member Dora. During our exploration of Galway, Keith graciously dropped us into city center with plentiful of helpful suggestions. Our sincerest compliments to the G hotel and everyone of their staff, thank you for creating a wonderful celebration for my fiancé’s birthday and our engagement.…
My children gifted me a gift voucher for my birthday which was for hi tea for myself and partner, so i only got around to using it yesterday... Apart from the stale bread, cold coffee, and sweet desserts laced in sugar, its safe to say I wouldn't step foot in the place again, also had to wait 55min for it to arrive, the less said about the waitress and floor staff the better, 70 euro for that is astounding this is not a 5 star hotel, the carpet in the pink room needs rolled up and threw into a skip, horrible experience. Avoid this place like the plague.
Our stay at the G Hotel was the most comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable experience. My 12yr and 6yr old daughters and myself spent a night in the luxury room. It was spacious and so beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. A huge deep soak bath and double walk in rainfall shower. Breakfast was spectacular, so tasty and beautifully presented. Staff were so accommodating from the moment we arrived and did everything they could to make your stay amazing and make you feel special. Myself and my girls will definitely return to our favourite hotel
Actually stayed in Dec 21, but only writing a review now.. beautiful, large, comfortable, open room.. a beautiful, modern spa, and wonderfully helpful staff.. oh and breakfast is a real treat, nothing seems to go to waste, they bring out a tray of food, but anything you want is available on request.. beautiful hotel, really modern and comfortable
My travels took me to Galway city yesterday, the weather was very poor rain & wind , I wanted to treat myself to something special, I was driving up towards the G hotel on my way out of Galway city on approaching the G Hotel I decided to call into the 5 star ⭐️ hotel , on Arriving I was approached by this lovely lady the Consearge welcoming me with a lovely smile & a welcome 5 star welcome, but unfortunately it all was 3 star after this , I was guided towards the bar / sitting area for a Coffee ☕️ & a menu , the menu read well but extremely expensive even for a 5 Star ⭐️ , and by the way my professional job has brought to every 5 star in Ireland 🇮🇪 this year & for the last several years , a bowl 🍚 of chowder €12.50 it does not cost that in real 5 star properties in Ireland it’s taste was just ok ! No smoke fish , no prawns 🍤 , no Salmon 🍣 , a couple of mussel’s in their shell 🐚 , very small serving in a bowl 🍚 no bigger then a cup , 2 out 10 for chowder, then too the salmon 🍣 & crab 🦀 sandwich open sandwich @ €16,50 two slices of Brown bread the bread been the high light of the food that was bought in most likely, there was no smoke salmon 🍣 as described on the menu it was a paste of salmon 🍣 & crab 🦀 mix , not good @ All 2 out of 10 you could have bought better in Aldi or lidil in Galway , the young girl serving me was not 5 star ⭐️ trained wear a nose Ring when serving food in a 5 star, I have never seen before in any five star in the World , but very friendly & of a nice disposition, the lady sitting next to me was waiting over ten mins for a coffee ☕️ so much so she had to go chase the server to get her Coffee ☕️ , I was sitting there 5 mins when the Consearge came in to me to offer a paper to read again with a big smile & lovely Conversation she was the highlight of my experience in the G Hotel in Galway , Food 2 out 10 service 3 out 10 ,…
