I was pleasantly surprised at my stay here, from the friendly welcoming staff, to the sumptuous breakfast, and large room with a great view. The B&B was full to capacity and I can see why, I stayed here as a family member was self isolating, I can't recommend this B&B enough, I was greeted by the manager Patrick he showed me To my room and told me if there's anything I needed do not hesitate to contact him, the breakfast was so tasty, definitely worth a visit to this B&B
This B&B is in a nice location for walking. It is on a rather busy road, but there are sidewalks for safe walking. Convenient parking in front. The rooms are bright and cheery with good ventilation. The garden is beautiful and provides a picturesque background for breakfast, which was a tasty meal with a variety of options for all meal preferences. One suggestion would be for the proprietor to add a hook or two on the wall or door of the bathroom.
Good clean rooms if a bit smaller then others we stayed. Parking was just outside the door ,with a superb view across the bayIt was also a short drive to the town centre which was worth the effort as it was a lively and fun place to be.
Nice and close to Galway, great local info about quick to visit restaurants and Galway access/Parking. Only a few minutes drive to Galway downtown shopping etc. Parking onsite. Large comfortable common room and great breakfast in the sun room out back. Bed was a little soft for my liking but that is up to personal preference. For driving in Galway best to avoid weekday rush hour morning and afternoon, bit of a madhouse.
Many B&Bs single bedrooms seem to be an afterthought these days, probably has something to do with profits. It was a lovely surprise then to walk into a very spacious, clean, comfortable and well maintained room at the Rusheen Bay. The staff here are lovely and very accomodating also.Ample parking too. If you can book this place at a reasonable price then grab it with both hands, you wont be dissappointed.
I booked this a bit last minute after my AirB&B guest cancelled on me. I'm extremely satisfied with my stay. Room was clean. Patrick is helpful and cooks you breakfast every morning. Have a great view of Galway bay. Has everything you need in the room. The only possibly negative thing I could say, is that it's a bit of a hike to Galway. A bus doesn't quite come this far, but a taxi ride is reasonable and always available. I recommend staying here!
Stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a family wedding in Galway... Beautiful house in a fantastic location.. within walking distance of Galway bay hotel. Hot and cold breakfast available.. would definitely recommend...
Away from the city center in a beautiful bay. Gorgeous grounds and accommodations. Good breakfast and were helpful and friendly. Called a cab for us to go into the city center. We only stayed one night but had no issues.
Galway city is difficult to drive around, better to stay a little out of the centre and enjoy the comfort. Lovely room, very good breakfast and parking at the door. We walked to the nearby bus-stop and went into the city, this was very easy. We walked around the corner to a very good local restaurant for diner. It was very convenient.
We stayed here for 2 nights, and enjoyed it. The room is a bit small, but cozy, more than enough for 2. The breakfast is great, choice of continental or cooked. Very friendly and helpfull staff. A nice deck to enjoy fresh air. The only thing missing is a shelf in the bathroom to put your stuff, otherwise it’s very nice.
