Enjoyed a very pleasant two night stay at the Clybaun with 2 kids. The room had a double and two singles and was spotless, and very well presented. Great big TV with Netflix, YouTube etc for when you just need to chill. Evening meal was great and breakfast was also bit hit. The location is great if you have a car and are planning on doing a bit of day-tripping out west as we were. Easy access to the pool was the best bit for the kids.

The Clybaun is very quiet and comfortable. Reception is very efficient and welcoming. Breakfast very good selection and lovely staff available to meet any needs. Bar very cosy spacious and comfortable. Excellent food there also. Overall a lovely hotel and certainly would recommend it as a good location to visit the city and close to Salthill beach and prom.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, newly renovated rooms you could still smell the paint. Breakfast was ok it done the job but only the basics nothing special. I found the chef a little grumpy maybe not a morning person??? You had to tell him what you wanted and he plated the food but it was very slap dash and not a smile given. I asked for cooked breakfast got one egg, bacon and one sausage. Pool good size but females had to go up approx 13 steps to get to the changing rooms which is not suitable for disabled as a little scary coming up and down with wet feet. Also to get into the pool had to walk down another 5 steps. But hey Ho the male changing room on the ground floor. Mothers we’re carrying babies and kids up and down the steps. Scared to look at times 😫

Everything about this hotel is top notch. The staff, the food, the pool, the room is everything you expect from a high quality hotel. And with the price being incredibly affordable it only gets better. We had our 6 year old son with us and all the staff were more than happy to talk to him and pay attention to him which helps massively with kids
