My boy friend and I recently completed a euro trip and we both agreed that one of our favourite places was Galway city. Our stay at the hostel was very enjoyable. It is perfectly located right in the centre of everything you'd want to see. The value is great, you get a nice breakfast with your stay. The blonde American...

The location and rooms are perfect, and the hostel is clean and new. The members of the staff in the other hand were rudes. They sold us a ticket for a tour that was not available, we stayed 2 days without toilet paper, bad breakfast,...

Enjoyed our time! The place is like a ma,e, it was cute. The beds though were too noisy, I was afraid I would wake the entire room every time I changed a position... The minimal breakfast is satisfactory and there's a full equipped kitchen if you choose to make your own.

The location of this hostel is great. Quay street is known for its partying and food. The room was very small. I was unsure if the linens were clean and one of the lockers was broken so we couldn't use it.

I've been staying at Barnacles quite often over the past year - the rooms and toilets are clean, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is great with a choice of eggs and pancake as well as the usual staples. The thing I look forward to the most however is a bit of banter with Kelcie (Chelsea). Herself and the...

I stayed for 3 nights here in Galway, and it was a great atmosphere! The location is perfect, right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. At night it was a bit loud, so that could be one issue. But not loud enough to stop me from sleeping. The staff are super friendly and funny. Probably the coolest...

Barnacles was such a lovely place to stay. The staff was so so helpful and very easy to talk to. My group of 6 stayed in a 12 person room and loved the size and the layout as well as the ensuite bathrooms. We loved that it was so central to the city and a quick walk to anywhere we...

We had a wonderful time a barnacles in Galway. Our room and bathroom was very clean and the beds comfy. Every bed has it's own plug and light. The kitchen area is well-equipped and tidy. Great location!

Great location, friendly staff and decent breaky in the morning. One very outgoing Canadian by the name of Kelsey was a treat and made my visit more memorable. Go on a walking tour and check out the Cliffs!
