We stayed 5 nights in Flannerys Hotel. I have to say we couldn’t fault it. We were a family of 4 staying in a Suite on the top floor. The room was spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. I loved that there was a Nespresso machine in the room rather than the usual instant coffee - nice touch! Our breakfast wasn’t included in our booking (our bad), but we had breakfast there every day and it wasn’t an expensive addition to the bill at the end either which was a nice surprise. The service here was second to none - a young cohort of staff but all were efficient and friendly always. We had dinner in the hotel twice and I would definitely recommend it for choice and quality. I went for Beef Bourguignon both times because it was so delicious. My husband loved the roast beef and the children’s pizzas went down well - plates were emptied! Room cleaning is not done without request because of COVID precautions, however we just notified Reception when we were going out if the room needed housekeeping and it was done whilst we were gone. The toiletries and tea/coffee supplies were left on the door handle daily so never ran out. Overall we found this hotel to be much more than expected. Everything they do, they do exceptionally well for a 3 star hotel. The location is good for access to Galway city - it’s walkable which is great as the traffic on the road was often heavy. I would definitely stay again. Well done Flannerys.

We stayed with children here recently and found it excellent. Large family room which was clean and had plenty of space. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant and food was lovely as was breakfast. Kids were delighted to see pancakes on the menu. The thing that impressed me most with this hotel was the staff. The service was brilliant nothing was too much trouble for them. Mostly a young staff but obviously well trained. We look forward to returning!

From the minute we got here this hotel was so snotty with us wpuldnt recommend threating with fines before we even got to our room even when we would come down for breakfast we felt uncomfortable we would be asked what did we want but everyone else around us got there food before us and we where left waiting alot longer and when are food would arrive are cold and the second day we watched are toast even sit on the bar for around 6 minutes didn't like the energy at all from the staff to the hairless manager . Not all staff are bad but we just had a fair share and had enough off this place we wouldn't do anything right we booked true hens.ie and as a hotel that accepts hens should not be taken the money off people to be so rude

Stayed here with a couple of friends in mid-July. Rooms were spotless and the food and drinks service was fantastic. Staff were excellent and were very helpful with guest services. The only downside to this though was that room cleaning was optional and we asked multiple times for our rooms to be cleaned , however it was not done. We did however receive fresh towels , soap shampoo tea coffee etc every morning. Not much else to say other than the cleaning issue, would stay again!
