This hotel is eastwards in Galway city, Connameara is northwards of Galway city. I took a bus tour to Connameara, and the area began about half an hour outside the city. If you do this or you've your own car it's an easy day trip. If you want to stay in Connameara, then you should choose another place. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.
