Garrai Glas is on a quiet street, but it is only a short (5-10) minute walk from city center. The rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast area is absolutely charming. Our hosts were perfectly delightful. They provided us local recommendations, maps and advice for getting on to other parts of the country, and delightful conversations. My highest recommendations!

A 10 minute walk to the restaurants, pubs, and shopping in Galway City. Nicely maintained home with excellent breakfast, and comfortable rooms. Desmond and his wife were exceptional hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice two days stay here. The host couple is quite old but extremely nice and helpful. The interior is old fashioned but nice. We were able to walk to the city center in a few minutes and there is a shop with ATM close by. We were able to park in the parking lot of the house....

We had a very good stay at Garrai Glas. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The Irish breakfast is perfect. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. It's in a very calm neighbourhood near the town center 5-10mn walk max and it's easy to park a car. Too bad we couldn't stay longer. Thank you.

Our stay in Garrai Glas was great, it's only 5-10 minutes from the city centre and near the Galway bay! The room is very clean and comfortable, good breakfast, and the owners are really gentle and warm. If we went back to Galway we would probably stay there again!
