Our very favourite hotel is the Galway Bay Hotel. We have been to Ireland twice now and make a point of staying there. We love the hotel for its comfort, restaurant, bars and most of all the staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. And if you like a drink at the bar Shane will certainly look after you! Last Saturday we celebrated at Galway Bay Hotel First Holy Communion of our Son. All our guests were delighted. At the beginning we were very pleased by the staff. Daniell took us to a table overlooking the ocean. Because the weather was wonderful we could enjoy the beautiful view. Our waitress was Petra. Very friendly and professional waitress. She also...

We recently took a holiday in Ireland and spent two lovely days in Galway. I found the Galway Bay hotel on trip advisor and was not disappointed in the reviews. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff accommodating, and the full Irish breakfast was delicious! We arrived late at the hotel so simply explored the salt your area...

Galway Bay Hotel provided nothing more than elegance and class to a once in a life time vacation. Each and every staff member was polite and courteous, helping and giving guidance at every turn. Highly recommended

The food is edible but not remarkable. But the facility is clean, modern and very comfortable. Right on the Salthill Promenade facing Galway Bay. Very attentive staff. Extremely helpful. So glad we chose Galway Bay Hotel.

I opted for a plate of salad, of the three salads I selected, one was Caesars salad with chicken, however, this had pieces of cold rashers mixed in with the chicken, lettuce and cheese shavings, which I found off putting and I left these rasher pieces on the...

Lovely hotel---great location/views, fabulous staff, immaculate, good sized rooms, generous breakfast buffet. However, I had to keep asking that the heat be turned on in my room (especially miserable on the four days I was ill)) & it was impossible to go to sleep b-4 midnight because of the music in the pub; even ear plugs were no help. Disappointing....

We booked this hotel three months before arrival and asked for a sea view room - the allocated room had a bay view if you craned your neck - the main view was of a tired, out of season childrens' amusement park and the wi-fi didnt work consistently. We expressed our disappointment, and were dealt with superbly by the duty...
