We arrived to be greeted by the owner who did take the time to explain the b and b to us. The room was small but comfortable and tidy but could be cleaned more thoroughly. Dust behind the furniture suggested they skirt around details. An extra pillow or 2 wouldn't go a miss. Breakfast was very good. Couldn't fault this....

This is not a B&b - its a cheap and nasty guesthouse that badly needs a clean. Our 'double' room (actually two singles shoved together) was directly opposite a street light and a curtain so thin it was like being outside - quite bright enough for reading all night but not so good for sleeping. We ended up putting the...

We stayed at the Corrib Haven recently and were very disappointed. This is a typical example of an owner who has no love of or pride in their business and the hospitality they offer their guests. For the following reasons: It was overpriced The interior in the room is outdated by well over 20 years. Both curtains and bed covers...

Didn't enjoy our 2 night stay at this place, the room was very small and looked dated, bathroom was also very tiny and not very clean odd stain on the wall near the door, The kettle could of done with a clean and the dish which hold packets of coffee and sugar needed cleaning. Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding in nearby hotel. There was no one big thing wrong with the place, and any of the faults on their own could be easily forgiven/forgotten but taken together it's just too much and I would not recommend. Positives: location for us was perfect (5 min walk from...

Some establishments can be regarded as cheap and cheerful - this place is just cheap! Met by a surly lady who seemed incapable of smiling and who demanded payment as soon as we walked through the door. Old musty carpets and decor throughout made the place feel very tired and poorly looked after. It had the feel of a place...

Checked in for one night. Was told check out was 11am. When sitting at breakfast was told needed to be out by 10!! Rushed back to room to shower, it was totally blocked so the water came out all over the bathroom floor n a proper shower was impossible. The towels were tiny and years old. The wifi didn't connect....

5 of us stayed here for the Galway races this year. From the onset, we received nothing but great customer service. My sister made the booking and thought the fella she was talking to, could not have been nicer. We arrived on the day and were greeted with a warm welcome by the lady owner, who put up great chat...

Money up front is always a bad sign but I went along with it. Dirty carpets, torn old smelly towels and smelly room, dirty shower, indifferent owner and terrible breakfast. This is by far the worst example of Irish hospitality I have ever witnessed and its recommended by the tourist board. Corrib Haven should be shut down or at least...
