I had serious doubt about this hotel after reading all the reviews but was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. I stayed in a room facing an inner court (room 218 if I remember correctly) and it was totally quiet. The room and the bathroom were both clean and nice, not run down at all. A great breakfast menu to...

I've been coming to the Eyre Square for over 15 years and if you're looking for a charming hotel in the center of it all, there is no better place! I always request the triple room since I'm usually traveling with my sister and a friend and it's perfect! Breakfast in the morning is not to be missed (and if...

This looked like such a quaint hotel on the web sites. But it was tired and there were several other choices that might have been a better option for us. The bus station announcements were loud and very clear when you have the windows/skylights open. The room was small. We didn't bother with breakfast. Bathroom should be up dated and...

This hotel was in a central location right beside the bus depot and close to shops restaurants and shops. The only problem is early in the morning you can hear the announcements from the bus stop. Parking was good, we parked in the car park at the bus stop and it was a short walk to the hotel. The room small...

Our room was too small for us even though we had 2 beds. If you spend very little time in the room then it's just fine. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to old Galway for shopping and eating. No parking so that was a problem. Otherwise, it was good for the price.

Stayed here for a night a couple of weeks ago when heading out in Galway with friends. Not too expensive in a very good location. The room is old enough but quite nice. The staff were friendly also. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights in July 2014 and simply loved the Hotel the entire Staff and the Pub. The room was very comfortable and the smallness of the Hotel makes it a nice homey feel, and the Staff makes you feel at home as well. The attached Pub and Staff/Bartenders are simply fantastic and...

We spend one night at Eyre square during the arts festival. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable, clean and cosier than ordinary hotel rooms. The hotel doesn't have its own car park, but they have deals with car parks close by. The bar looks very cool too, but we were the only...

Stayed here for one night and was delighted it was only one night. Actually felt like sleeping in the car instead. Paid 119 euro for a twin room. The place is smelly and musty and everything is so old. There was stains on the bed sheets and nothing looked clean. The toilet had stains on and looked like it hadn't...
