Awesome hostel with great location within 5 minute walk of the two main Galway bus stations and main city center area. Hostel is clean with privacy curtains, lights, cage lockers, and USB charging ports for every bunk. Bathrooms were consistently cleaned and all facilities were perfect. Has a good little kitchen/lounge area to meet other travelers and share stories. But...

Not a huge fan of hostels usually stayed here as the price suited. Great location and to be fair you wouldn't think it's a hostel. Extremely clean and friendly staff also parking next door for 6 euro a day and free WiFi. Would definitely return.

I recently stayed at the Galway City Hostel. My experience was fantastic! Let's start with check in. I was greeted by a friendly chap in reception. Shook my hand with a (genuine) smile and proceeded to give me the Necessary info on my stay including breakfast times, checkout times, etc. Nice and easy. He then pointed me in the direction...

This was a great hostel experience! Everyone at the hostel was friendly, and everything from check-in to check-out was very easy. Everything was super clean, and I liked how the bunks in the large room each have individual curtains. The breakfast is good if standard, but what is great about food is that several nights a week the staff cook...

Stayed for five nights in August in a five bed female room. Perfect location to/from bus station as well as the main pedestrian area. Clean rooms. Clean bathrooms. Friendly, helpful staff that serves homemade Irish brown (soda) bread each morning (the hostel also provides a free breakfast). Many community/evening events. In total, one of the best hostels (if not the...

An excellent hostel, perhaps the best I've been in. Very clean, good breakfast, good showers, perfectly located, and very friendly and helpful staff... Especially Brian! Also the beds have privacy curtains which is a big plus when people are coming in and out, or want to read at night.

Mark/Brian at the front desk deserve all the awards. They both went above and beyond to make our stay great. Breakfast was awesome, soy milk was even an option! Bathrooms were very clean and bright. So bright. Lockable crates under the beds were handy, remember to bring a lock. So handy that every bed has a few outlets too. It...

We stayed in a 6 bed female dorm. Each bunk had lockable crates underneath, which was nice to put any valuables. No elevators, but the guys at the front desk (Mark and Brian) were great in helping us take our bags up and down when we checked in and out. Since we were staying for three nights, after our first...

My friend and I have traveled around Ireland at this month and Galway City Hostel was one of our favorites! It wasn't too big and it was pretty cosy. Staff was nice and breakfast was good. Only minus was bar next to the hostel that played music loudly quite late when people tried to sleep.

This hostel is amazing! The staff was so friendly and fun to be around. They were very laid back and willing to help with anything you needed. They had events almost every night. We went to one where they took us out to dinner and then lead us around to a couple of pubs for music and drinks. We were...
