Indeed a bit old fashioned. The owner is friendly though but tries a bit to hard. Compared to other B&Bs this one scores average: you can hear the other guests, the room is rather small, breakfast is not very special. We found pieces of glass on the floor in our small bathroom.

Nobody their when we arrived at 3.00 so had to go for a walk (after a long drive). We were put in the loft, nothing matched, musty smell, The next day someone had been in the room which was unnecessary as we only stayed one more night. Would not recommend this guest-house and do not understand the reviews..

Just back home after my 2nd stay at Marian Lodge. As always, Celine goes out of her way to welcome you. Her breakfast is excellent and includes home made brown bread. My room was cozy and spotless. Its only a 15 minute walk along the seaside to Salthill and a quick cab ride into Galway City. Celine is very willing...

Only staying the one night on a cycling trip up Ireland. Good size room and comfortable bed. Celine was friendly and welcoming and due to the inclement weather before arrival, she went out of her way to help, washing and drying kit and making us welcome. Great stay.

Very comfortable. Right on bus lines and tours picked up at the door. Conveniently located between Galway and the Prom. View of the bay with the beach down the road. Celine is a fine host and provides a great Irish breakfast. She is very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place to stay, very warm welcome with tea and biscuits. We stayed in a lovely room and we would certainly recommend this Bed and Breakfast! The location was also nice, not far from the beach or the city center.
