We stayed one night in this house.A home from home . Celine was a great hostess with very good knowledge of Clifden and surrounding areas and looked after us very well. We had lovely homemade bread in the morning with a great fry up. A very nice homely place to stay.

Well run B&B, excellent breakfast with homemade brown bread. Celine was a great host. My wife daughter and I stayed. The room was a bit tight but very clean and tidy. It’s a quiet road and right beside the seaside - which has wonderful walks.

Celine is a lovely hostess and we enjoyed great conversations with her. The guest house itself is of antique mahogany furnishings and very comfortable beds, warm rooms with TV, WiFi and a lovely breakfast. The house is stones throw away from sea, short drive from city center and Joyce's supermarket up the road. There is one parking space per room which is appropriate. We gave Celine a Go Vegan world guide book for any future vegan customers as wewere her first, but cooked us a lovely breakfast of beans on toast with mushrooms and tomatoes with options of cereal & fruit, we gave her our plant milk to keep in the fridge for us too. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you Celine

Celine, was the perfect host in her lovely home. We stayed three nights recently and started each day with a wonderful home cooked breakfast. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and the hospitality was true to Irish tradition of excellence. Walking distance to the beach and swimming, plenty of great advice for entertainment. On site parking was plentiful and this was a nice quiet location. I would return if the opportunity presents itself.

We only stayed the one night but it was a nice clean room in a quiet building on a quiet street. I had my best sleep of our trip. Breakfast was wonderful including the white pudding and our hostess was super nice and helpful.

My husband and myself stayed 3 nights from 12th April 2019 to visit family in Galway for a family wedding. Celine welcomed us both and like many decent hosts to B & B's was welcoming and homely. I will be objective and honest in my revue. We stayed in Room 1 on the 1st floor. Room presented clean and tidy with plenty of clean towels, tea & coffee, sugar and kettle supplied. Hairdryer in the room. Plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Dressing table area and mirror for personal use. Safe in wardrobes with key. En-suite bathroom is a shower, basin, toilet and wall mirror with light. Totally fit for purpose. The double bed had plenty of clean sheets and pillows(enough blankets to ensure if the night turns cold you can access more in the room). Beside the bed (each side) is a side table and cupboard with two over bed lights and switches. Room remained quiet throughout our stay with no obvious impact from neighbouring rooms or outside traffic. Sleep quality was excellent. This B & B provided the top quality mattress on the double bed in this room. Breakfast - we paid 8 Euros each for breakfast each morning and we both have no complaints or negative things to say and would recommend Celine's quality of breakfasts. Thank you x Parking - plenty of parking spaces for the number of possible visitors. If I had to point out any negative or possible changes I could offer to Celine was that we only had 1 x double socket in the room which meant we had to un - plug things to for eg. charge our phones/use laptop. Thank you Celine for a pleasant stay at your B & B. I would recommend Marian Lodge.

Owner was a very nice lady. Well located. I stayed here because my friend's wedding was nearby and I was happy with it. It was very reasonably priced. Book directly by phone for a better price than booking online.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this B and B. Booked directly with Celine the owner for best rate. Rented a car and drove 2.5 hrs from Dublin airport. Quite tricky driving on left side and tight roads in some areas. Wanted to stay in Galway area and found this B and B very comfortable, quiet, convenient a 15 -20 min walk along the sidewalks of the beautiful Galway Bay to active night life, restaurants, shops etc. Bus stops right out in front also. The owner Celine was delightful. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, tours to take, what to do etc. Excellent full Irish breakfast cooked to order, or coffee, great bread, cereal, juice etc. Would highly recommend this place.
