Eamon and his crew are wonderfully hospitable and help you with your every need, be it a taxi, help with lost luggage, a cup of free coffee/tea, or guidance about Galway. The breakfast is excellent and Galway Bay is a 5-minute walk. Recommended!

Stayed at this hotel, the interior was very rundown, rooms were small basic and gruby, staff we're dismissive, rude, abrupt, arrogant and unprofessional, I would not recommend anyone stay here, we decided to leave and seek other accommodation a

Regular Bus service into Galway almost at door. Limited onsite parking. Lovely And friendly helpful staff. Average rooms with tv in unusual position. Good breakfast. Free coffee downstairs (not cappuccino etc).

Stayed one night as had business in the area. This hotel is very clean with comfortable beds, good grade bed linen and towels, decent wifi and friendly and helpful staff. Eamon was very warm efficient and friendly. Yes it is dated, but it's charm and warmth not to mention value for money surpass any issues you may have on it's...

I stayed over night in this hotel for when I had my college exams. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff are really friendly and so welcoming. The rooms are really nice and I would stay here again as it is excellent value for money.

I don't expect to have 5* star accommodation, especially when you review the hotel before you stay. I can get over sub standard accommodation but when you can't get the basics right that does it for me. Blood stains on the towels, out of date food for the breakfast and paper thin walls.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights while staying in Galway for the Connemara marathon. I booked quite late so the hotel seemed like good value which it turned out to be. I was greeted by the Chinese lady (who I think is the proprietor) at the front desk and she showed me to my room. The room was...

We visited this hotel during the eleventh storm of Ireland. We were as wet as rats when we came, but received such a warm welcome! We could use the heating as much as we wanted, there was a TV in the room, and a complimentary tea/coffee from the reception! The towels and bathroom accessories as well, we had nothing more...

Let's call a spade a spade here, this is by no means a luxury hotel, but for the price it's exceptional. For €36 I got a warm welcome and coffee on arrival, a clean en suite room with bath and fast WiFi and a continental breakfast this morning. Excellent, I will definitely be back.
