This is a lovely hotel in a good location. The bedroom was a good size and couldn't fault it except a little updating is necessary. The bar food is tasty and well priced. The breakfast is really good with a great selection. The best feature of this hotel is the wonderful friendly and helpful staff.

I stayed 8 nights at this nice hotel and have no complaints. I booked online from US and was very Pleased with the price. I was familiar with the location and loved the 15 minute walk to city center. I planned to take taxi home each night (approx 10 euro). My room was lovely! I read all reviews good &...

I returned to use this hotel this evening after an absence of many years. It is a difficult location to find but Sat Nav is a great help! In the lobby a band was setting up as 55 years of hotel trading was being celebrated. An hour later there was a great atmosphere as the lobby was "buzzing" with chatter...

The ardilaun was puzzlingly inconsistent yet I would be tempted to rate it as very good because the pros far outweighed the cons. The location is very good, the room was very nice despite a problem with the heating. The leisure centre was outstanding and the breakfast was of a very high quality. There were some things that seemed out...

Family trip for 2 nights B&B in Superior room including afternoon tea on Pigsback offer. We had 2 rooms booked, arrived on Tuesday afternoon and had our afternoon tea for three which was one of the better afternoon tea's I've had apart from Ashford Castle. The Ardilaun is in nice settting with leisure centre and plenty of parking. It was...

We were here for a function which had food which you went up and had served from containers. The Irish stew they had was the nicest of this type of food I can recall at a hotel. Tasty, hearty and warming as the day required. They showed a match on big screens for us, although I was surprised it was...

Dear barrera, Thank you for your super review, we are delighted you enjoyed your buffet style meal and the rugby last weekend. The reason for the online player is that you were hosted in our main ballroom, which is not equipped with a TV. that is in keeping with the atmosphere and decor of the room, which is mainly used...

This a pleasant hotel in a good setting on the hill. A little tricky to find and certainly not close to the town centre. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very well appointed and a lot of money has clearly been spent on them. Sadly the attention to detail missed the shower curtain rail, as seen...

We stayed in the Ardilaun for a three day break in March 17. The hotel is nicely situated with plenty of parking. It is around 1km walk to Salthill and 1.5km to Galway city centre or a 10 Euro taxi fare! Kate at reception was pleasant at check in. We stayed in one of the older rooms where the decor...
