A decent modern hotel in a good location just 5 mins walk from the centre of Galway. A nice bar area and a good restaurant (Dillisk On the Docks) Decent breakfast - not the biggest buffet in the world and not the biggest choice but pretty good for the standard of hotel. Staff all very, very friendly and keen to help. I was particularly impressed with the restaurant and bar staff. My only issue was the build quality of the rooms with paper thin walls. Let’s just say my wife and I were in the room next to a seemingly young couple who wanted to “enjoy” themselves on three separate occasions during our first night. Unfortunately we heard a every single squeak of the bed. What perturbed me more is the headboards of our beds obviously shared the same party wall and as the bed next door vigorously moved the bed in our room literally rocked. At first I thought I was imagining this but no, my wife confirmed, our bed was rocking in time to the one next door - that’s how thin the walls are!!! As others have mentioned in their reviews I can agree with the reports of low water pressure in the showers. Not what I would expect in a fairly new build hotel. All in all, not a bad place but the quality of the building itself and plumbing really brings down the standard.

Room Tip: Parking can be tight at times but the public car park right next door is exactly the same price...

As always a great few days away. Fantastic staff, although we missed Dan. Breakfast buffet was well stocked, poached eggs on request. Clean rooms, water in the fridge. Easy checkin and checkout. Secure parking. Close to city without the noise. Keep up the good work. Sonya+Trish

On recommendations from other TripAdvisor reviews, we booked the Harbour for one weekend night. From check-in to check-out the service was brilliant. Close to all major attractions and the coach and rail stations, the hotel has a cheery, elegant atmosphere. Our dinner and drinks at Dillisk were lovely, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Definitely will stay again when visiting Galway!

We stayed Sun-Wed and from the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome. The hotel is in a great location, rooms, food and drinks are excellent. Specail mention to Padrig and Cyprian for their professionalism, friendliness and taking time to make us feel so welcome. We have to mention THE most fantastic cocktails . They were some of the best we've had and the old fashioned is the best we have tasted. We can tell that not only is Cyprian well trianed but importantly enjoy making them he took pride in watching us enjoy them too! We can't wait to return.
