Nice hotel situated at the bottom of Quay St near Koreans Lane. Lots of shopping, pubs & restaurants within easy walking distance. There’s also a craft type market nearby on certain days with local crafts. Clean, tidy hotel. Rooms are the same with comfy beds. Rooms are small as to be expected in Europe. Parking in adjacent parking building for 10 euro per day & a restaurant on site. Must reserve for breakfast at 12.50 euro per person. Nice breakfast. Staff were courteous & lobby is nicely presented. Great location & place to lay your head. We had an alley room which was loud by the folks carousing in the bars restaurants when the windows are opened. Nice & quiet when closed. Enjoyed ourselves here!
Our stay was perfect. The location of the hotel was so central to what we needed. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and caring. Espically a lovely young man on reception called Aaron who booked us in for an amazing tour around Connemara. He was so knowledgeable friendly and had great recommendations for places to eat and visit along the main streets of Galway. The bar staff were so nice and very attentive to our needs and requests with a great selection on drinks. The rooms could do with a but of an updating and the parking was very hard to navigate but other than that the staff and hotel has made up for it. Will definitely come back again due to staff and location.
The location is the only thing going for this hotel . At over €400 for 2 nights there was only 1 bed and a pull out bed which didn’t unfold correctly . Parking and breakfast not included in the price. This is a very basic hotel posing as something it’s not
Lovely staff lovely room lovely people all round really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone the area is gorgeous. I sat at the bar one night to have a pint to calm my nerves and had a really nice conversation that completely put me at ease which really summed up my stay in one interaction
Unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel. It’s not even close to a 4*. The rooms aren’t cleaned daily (I was there for 3 nights and the room was cleaned once). When the room is cleaned the barely make the bed and didn’t change the spoons. DO NOT use the laundry service. I was charged €65 for 5 t shirts, 1 jeans, 2 jumpers, and 5 socks and underwear. On the positive the staff were lovely and the location was fantastic!
We knew on first contact with reception that this hotel was going to disappoint. Is this a management issue? Room was on small side but otherwise was adequate. Location is good but the carpark is only suitable for very small cars. We enquired about lunch and were told that there was no service. Dinner was in the bar with a very restricted menu. For some reason non-residents were not allowed to use the hotel's facilities. Barman was friendly but staff were otherwise indifferent. We would not want to return.
All the people working there were more than helpful. Rosana, Aaron, Sabrina, Nicola and Antonia were really pleasant. They answered all my questions amd were very attentive. Will definitely stay here again.
How amazing our stay in jury’s hotel parking was a bit tight Galway, reception staff excellent especially Antonia keiaronne looked after us and breakfast was amazing bar was good atmosphere view was good
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and happy to see people checking into the hotel. We arrived a couple of hours before we could check into our rooms, but the staff were accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags in a room just off reception. For our needs, the hotel was perfectly located. Right by by bay and just at the start of all the bars and restaurants. We are definitely going to book a longer break next time to enjoy the Irish hospitality
Friendly welcome on check in. A lovely clean room with lots of space and nice view of The Liffey. Only downside was that the pillows were quite hard. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice in the hot and cold sections.
