My husband and I stumbled on this gem when we visited Galway. The hostess, Mary, was warm, welcoming , incredibly helpful and accomodating. Our room was clean and cozy, breakfast was "made to order" amazing and the location is absolutely perfect - short walking distance to shops, restaurants, music and pubs. Hated to leave and will definitely return.

If you want the Ritz stay there. If you want an Irish storybook B&B stay here. Mary's an idealized James Joyce character & the place is clean & perfectly worn like the cover of grandpa's favorite book

We spent two nights at St. Martin's B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location can't be beat, literally five minutes from downtown Galway with all its restaurants and shops. Mary, the Hostess, went out of her way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. She even provided hot water bottles to help warm our beds and sooth our tired...

My family and I have stayed for two nights at Mary's B&B in two rooms. We were four people and although there were a 4 beds room available she gave us two rooms-one with 3 beds and one with 4- for the same price. Can't describe with words how incredibly charming, welcoming and nice she has been. She showed us...

We stayed with Mary last night during our trip around Ireland. We could not have asked for a better host. She made us feel like one of the family welcoming us into her home. Her home and rooms were EXTREMELY clean and the food was just amazing. It kept us full until supper time. I have absolutely NO faults with...

Very nice lady made it a nice experience, and the back garden is super cozy! The attached photo is where we ate breakfast. Just lovely! Mary also made a nice breakfast. The location is great too. Very close to the center, but at the same time a quiet area.

Mary and Donny are not that young anymore but they are great people. So if you are a difficult person or your expectations are too high go somewhere else because they deserve better than you! Price/quality is just perfect. They welcome you with a cup of tea and you'll feel at home on the spot. Breakfast is mmm and served...

Very close to the town centre. The hosts were very hospitable, always had a hot water bottle under the duvet for us. Always happy to give tips on where to go or what to do. Breakfast was wonderful. Hadn't had a chance to make a trip to Aran Island during our visit. Will definitely make that trip one day and...

What can I say about Mary, the loveliest of hostesses in Galway and a lady who made us English folk feel very welcome. Arriving in Galway without a reservation we stumbled across St Martins just over the river and a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of town but far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep....
