Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very Experience for what it is , stayed in room 5 downstairs double bed with single bed. Room well worn with shower room. The B&B has WIFI but you will not get on as the connection and speed is snail pass.

I paid 89 euros for a tiny attic room and this was for room only. Part of the ceiling was covered in wood constituting a fire hazard. The furniture was chipped and shabby. A steel bar with 5 hangers was the wardrobe!!!! It was taking liberties to call the en suite an en suite- one needed to be pencil slim to be able to use the toilet. The dim mirror light was the "en suites" only light. The staff member in the office which was located in The White House was brusque and became verbally aggressive when I couldnt locate my room. I thought such low standards of accomodation were a thing of the past in Ireland

I stayed here with my parents in a room for three people. It was exactly how we imagined it, but a bit tight for three people. A pretty typical b&b. But we weren’t aware that the breakfast was not included. A cheap, plain room. It was ok but nothing more.

We booked for 2 nights but it was so bad we only stop for one night. The “bedroom” had an en-suite that was no more than a wall dividing the bed from the toilet, then another thin wall divided the toilet from the room next door. The toilet door did not shut and the toilet was so close to the toilet it was a struggle to use it. The shower was a trickle and there was mould in the bedroom

We booked online. We saw the person running it once and are not even sure if she understood English. The office/kitchen door was not answered even during business hours. The place smelled like the Boston Subways. Another guest in passing said they must have used a dirty mop. The bathrooms don't have a wall to the ceiling so it is like you are all in the same room when using the toilet. The shower was good for a leprechaun which was all right for me but not my 6'3" husband. It says B&B but there is no breakfast. The place was terrible and I say avoid it at all cost. I also do not think any travel websites should be allowing it to popup as a suggested place to stay. It was obvious that someone was just out to make money with very little effort. I repeat avoid this place at all costs!

It was the Galway races and accommodation was hard to find but I was prepared to pay over the odds and got a double room with ensuite in a good location. It was expensive but I was prepared to pay for the location, assuming ( wrongly) that it might be a bit basic but we could at least get a nights sleep. We were disappointed. The room we were shown was so bad that we decided we couldn't stay and had to face a long night drive back to Dublin and miss a day at the races. We were shown a tiny attic room, a cupboard for an ensuite, a velux window ( hard to imagine how we'd get out if there was a fire), awful dated decor and a very strong smell of something chemical. We were so tired that we were tempted to stay but after a brief rest and a cup of tea we told the lady who said she just worked there that we couldn't stay. She wasn't surprised but said that the booking agency would have to deal with our refund. Later we discovered that the money was taken from our account a few days later and our booking agent referred our request to be refunded to the owner! Unbelievable treatment. Only 2 rooms have sea views

Advertised as bed & breakfast but was told no breakfast is available. Not the traditional Irish experience, truly awful experience, I strongly recommend you find somewhere else to stay. Spoiled our visit to Galway.

Very very basic, a hostel probably would have been better than this bed and "breakfast".We expected the rooms to be basic, they were, however on arrival we were told breakfast is not included in the stay even tho we booked a b&b!!! To be honest im sure we didnt miss out on much considering everything about this place is below average, only positives is the location!

The manager was very helpful and kind! Unfortunately, what changed our opinions was the staff cleaning the rooms talking about guests. Walls are very thin so we heard everything including them referring to us as those crazy Americans. We found this very rude considering we were nothing but kind to them. Other than that, it was a cute little quaint b&b with shady wifi.
