This is a modern block of self catering apartments. It’s selling point is its town centre position in Short walking distance to the central square. It is over T!KMaxx and next to the shopping centre with M&S etc Check in not exactly easy….you have to park the car somewhere, walk 1 building away, check in for key at its sister hotel then drive around the block to enter the secure underground car park which is free luckily.. Same again to check out. Apartment has floor to ceiling windows with view in the distance of water and Connemara beyond. However the buildings in the immediate vicinity a bit shabby with betting shops etc. The outside roof terrace was good but no chairs or furniture for it provided. Interior clean . Shower rooms very good. Beds comfortable. We felt that guests were not expected to be in the apartment for any period of time therefore some facilities were basic. eg for cooking, shortage of cutlery,, leather couch comfortable for only a brief seating, No ice making containers Shelves all removed from fridge door. No plug in wash basin in main bathroom. They had to send someone out to buy a basic replacement. Washer drier in apartment- good- but as we all know many items of clothing eg tee shirts etc cannot be dried in a drier because of shrinkage. Nowhere for alternative drying. A drying rack would not go amiss. TV difficult to get switched on to channels. All the blinds needed to be pulled down during the day needed to be pulled down during the day because the sunlight built up the heat in the main room particularly. The air conditioning made the place stuffy and the patio door did not stay open but also made the apartment accessible to other guests Generally we felt that the apartment is overpriced and expensive. We subsequently stayed in a 4 * hotel which was better value.

We booked this property for one reason only: the apartments are advertised as having a washer/dryer in each unit. This was important to us as we are in the middle of an extended 3+ week trip. We were first given apartment 9, but had to request to be moved when the door wouldn’t latch properly to make electronic contact in order for the machine to work. The maintenance guy very graciously had a load of our laundry washed/dried and returned for us later that evening. We then moved to apartment 15 where the washer worked on our second load, but the dryer ended up ADDING water to our laundry instead of drying it (3 times). We would set it on spin to get the water out, then set it to dry again. Each time, we ended up with warm, soaked clothing. I have one of these “all in one” washer dryers in my RV and my guess is that the water-cooled dryer simply isn’t working properly and needs maintenance, along with the dryer in #9. We have a train to catch in the morning, so I’m hoping the front desk will be accommodating and dry this second load for us. If you don’t care about doing laundry, the apartments are nice enough, very clean and the location is great.

The property has a good location, and the apartment plenty of light, but... it isn't clean, it had mold in the shower. We didn't use any of the silverware or dishes, they weren't clean, (drawers weren't clean either), and we didn't need them either because we stays only two nights and had our meals at nearby restaurants. The bed is too small for two regular size people. At the check out, we paid and they said everything was OK, and then two days after a 20 Euro charge appeared , I asked why, and they said because I consumed a bottle of wine (we don't drink alcohol). I guess the cleaning service had a good toast on me (the one didn't clean the apartment, nor provided clean towels.

We were in Unit 9. It was in a lovely sunny corner of the building with views looking across the town and over the water of Galway Bay. Everything was quite clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The clothes washer/dryer was very handy. They provided soap pods. When we used those, they provided more. We used their secure parking spot. (Street Parking is a challenge in this part of town.) Given that this condo is part of a local hotel, there was always someone at reception to manage any question or issue. That included check-in and check-out which was a breeze. The condo location is close to Eyre Square, but far enough away from the late night party scene in the older part of town. I would definitely stay in this location if visiting Galway again. The only remark I would have is that the mattress on the bed could have been more firm (for my tastes), but it was typical of a mattress in such a lodging.

Very clean, large, safe and well located apartments in the city. Nice views over the city and countryside. Parking available right under the building, same lift. Kitchen plus laundry in the unit was a bonus. We would come back again. Note, the main lounge is large enough for a sleeper sofa, but there is only a leather 2-seat sofa and armchair there - so no extra sleeping capacity.

Apartment was very nice and spacious, but they should tell you that drinks are not complimentary and if you touch them you’ll be charged !!! It looked like it was gift on the table. Definitely not happy about that surprise at the checkout!!!!

Myself, my partner and two children stayed in one of the apartments on our first visit to Galway. We were delighted with the apartment as it was spacious, in a great location with amazing views. We were really impressed with all the staff from the hotel as they were so friendly and helpful and answered any query or issue we had quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were delighted with the apartment. On arrival you have to check in at the hotel which was no issue but a little confusing with parking. The staff at reception were lovely and welcoming. They requested a 350 euro deposit for the stay which was a bit excessive in my opinion as it was just myself and my boyfriend away for a few days. This is also not not clearly displayed on the website when booking nor is it a part of the confirmation when booking. I understand why the deposit would be this if it was a larger group staying in one of the bigger apartments. Apart from this the apartment was finished to a high standard and was overlooking the city. I would highly recommend a stay here as its a 5 minute walk from everything.

We booked the apartment through Airbnb, and at our arrival Merveille and her manager welcomed us warmly making sure that our stay would be the best. They upgraded us to a quieter room so that my parents-in-laws would get the rest they needed. The apartment is beyond perfection, it's huge, bright and the view is breathtaking. The parking underneath is free and reachable by elevator. The apartment has everything you need to cook, it's very clean, modern, the beds are really confortable and every room was en suite (own shower and toilets) which is perfect when you're group travelling. The location is amazing, only 2 minutes from Eyre Square, buses, and shop street. I'd recommend this place to everyone ! Merveille, (the receptionist) was amazing, and our stay was beyond everything we could have been expecting, all that thanks to her ! I am very grateful for everything she's done for us. The whole team is very welcoming ! I would gladly come back ! Thank you again for everything.
