Ate here this evening. Menu was really nice with good choice. Three specials available including one vegetarian. Had a delicious risotto for starters- mushroom and butternut squash. Yummy. Followed by seafood platter. Everything was fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend.

I have noticed in the last few months that this establishment seems to be changing rapidly both staff wise and in general management of the bar. Gone are the days when you could get a toasted sandwich or bag of crisps at the bar, you now have to order something to eat off their menu which rarely changes and has...

Stayed here for one night and loved every minute. Staff are very friendly (particularly a blonde lady who checked us in, didn't get her name, sorry!). A 5 minute drive from Eyre Square - the cost of a one way taxi varied between €6 and €9. Made use of the hairdryer and coffee making facilities which were great. Free parking...

Food was very nice and the service was quick. Difficult to enjoy however, with the fact that a birthday party was shoved in on top of us (at 5:30pm), followed by blaring music. Avoid the bar and go to the restaurant!

My (now husband) and I went here for a long weekend. I was not disappointed. We had a little living room section as well as a main bedroom. The room was quiet and just what we needed, the restaurant and bar were spot on. Loved this place. Great base for exploring without being in the hussle of Galway itself. We...

I had breakfast with my daughter in the Huntsman today and was blown away by the quality and the value and the service. From the poached eggs with deep yellow yolks to the crisp grilled bacon, the finest quality butcher sausages that came from the grill and not the deep fat fryer, the black pudding potato cake that had chunks...

4 of us went for a family meal, I had the seafood special, My wife and daughter had scampi, and my son had a steak burger. My son really enjoyed his steakburger, generous proportions with a lovely salad and fries. I was not hugely impressed with my seafood, scampi, prawns, etc but there was plenty of it, I thought it...

We arrived at 1pm on Saturday, we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist and quickly shown to our room. The room was very large and beautifully decorated, it had everything you need for a comfortable break. The food in the hotel is excellent, the breakfast is just perfect, served to you by really nice staff. The hotel is an easy...

Lovely hotel just on the outskirts of the main hubbub of Galway city centre. We took a taxi when going out at night which cost us roughly €8-€10 each way so quickly adds up! Hotel is well kept & definitely pays attention to detail with beautiful art work & high spec appliances, i.e. The shower in our room was amazing!!...
