We was at Sli Na Mara for 2 days and we really loved our stay. Bridie and George were nice hosts, very kind and helpful, and the area was very quiet. Not exactly in the very center of the city, but at a nice walking distance (10-15 minutes). Just to be precise, the rooms were a little tiny, but good...

Nothing wrong with this B&B: comfortable room, clean, good-sized bathroom with good shower. Good breakfast. (Bring your own toiletries - none provided.) Parking outside. Not that far out of Galway or Salthill, but far enough that you wouldn't really want the walk. A good option if you can't find a central hotel at the same price (which can be difficult...

Dear fs001, Thank you for taking the time in reviewing us here at Sli Na Mara. We do hope to see you back with us in the near future. We would strongly recommend to our guests that walking is the best option as Quay street is just a 10 minute walk from Sli Na Mara. Salthill is further afield with...

Nice B&B with a friendly familiarly atmosphere. My single room was quiet und clean, also the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Good breakfast, cooked or cereals or toast and cheese,. Close to the beach and to the town (10 minutes). I felt very welcome! Thanks Bridie and George.

Bridie and George are really very nice. Very good stay in their home clean and comfortable, located approximately 700 m from downtown. Good breakfast. The only area for improvemer would be the bathroom. The rest was perfect.

This B&B is well located being about 500m from the main shopping and tourist area of Galway and about 200m from the promenade along Galway Bay, linking Galway with the suburb of Salthill. The bedroom was satisfactory but, unlike other B&Bs, even extras such as soap were not supplied, despite this being the dearest B&B we stayed in on our...

Bridie was so nice & friendly upon our arrival. The home was clean & comfortable . While the rooms were not very large , you cannot beat the value compared to other Galway B&B's we had priced . Bridie was quick to assist us on where to go & what to see while we were there . While we could...

We booked this B&B at the last minute, the room we got was just fantastic. So clean and neat that we thought it was brand new, but in fact it is several years old. The hospitality from our hosts was excellent. Their local knowledge of the area was handy and their friendly disposition much appreciated. Breakfast was served at the...

This is a nice enough place but doesn’t outshine any of the competition which is in abundance in Galway. The owners are nice and friendly but the shower was particularly dirty and it didn’t look as if the filter had been changed in many years. The breakfast was small but tasty.
