My friend and I booked a night here through Booking.com a week prior to our stay, for an event we were both attending in an area close to the hotel. I received an e-mail to inform me that my trip was confirmed. The day before our stay, i received a call from the hotel telling me that they had overbooked...

The location is close to convenience store and sea. There's also few restaurants and bar. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom is clean and spacious. For light sleeper, please request room far from the street because it's close to bar so it can be quite noisy during late night (drunk people). The hotel does not...

the hotel is basic but very comfortable, there is a bar downstairs but despite being directly over it we heard nothing - the staff were excellent, the hotel clean & the location perfect, a 25/30 min walk to Eyre Square or a €7 taxi ride from the rank outside

As two students this was an absolute gem of a find! Right on the prom and in the middle of the town the holiday hotel is perfect for anyone. It's a real old fashion, warm, cosy, homely hotel. Comfy beds, spotless room, a shower and a TV what more do you need? The staff were a great bunch very helpful...

I stayed here with my partner for the weekend of the Run Galway Bay marathon. We were made feel very welcome on arrival and the rooms were clean and had everything we required. It was also surprisingly quiet at night considering the location. Meals are not served on site but The Galleon across the street has an excellent breakfast menu....

I stayed here with my husband for one night to attend a family event. My relatives were staying in apartments near by so we booked this hotel due to its close location to them. It couldn't have been better. I saw two of the rooms and they were a decent size. Our bed was comfortable and the room was very...

We loved our stay at the Holiday Hotel. The manger, Martin, was so friendly and accommodating. He held mail for us before we even got there and upgraded our room to a room with a view. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The location was very nice and close to great restraunts and O Conners bar....
