Praguehouse is situated in a prime location, just a short stroll to the cobbled stoned Quay St, where you can sample the best cuisine from many countries, also just a five minute walk from the beach and the long promenade walk in Salthill. You can visit Connemara, the Burren and Cliffs of Moher from here by car, or you can be picked up at the door by a tour company and dropped back again in the evening for any of these tours. There is a stop for the Aran Island just across the Street from Prague house, where the Shuttle bus will pick you up. For breakfast we supply plenty of healthy cereals, fruit yogurt, pancakes, homemade health bread, scones, and of course an Irish breakfast is also available, we also have vegetarian options available. We have a very relaxed homely atmosphere, and looking forward to welcoming you to Praguehouse.

This was a last minute trip to travel to Ireland to see our son who was studying aboard and ended up in the hospital. We were there for 4 day and for people who like top plan things out, Mary made this trip and stay very comforting and relaxing given the circumcstances. The hosue was very warm reflecting the owners and their generous hospitality. Loved the breakfast spread and the chance to talk to mary in bounce off plans and ideas to enjoy the time in Galway. Thank you Mary!

Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed to make our 4 day stay pleasant. It was an easy walk to Galway's lively city centre as well as to the promenade along Galway Bay. Breakfasts were filling and delicious with a nice variety that included vegetarian options. Mary's suggestions for things to see and do were much appreciated. We were picked up right outside our door for the day tour to the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands--extremely convenient!

Prague House is ideally located within easy walking distance of Galway Ciy Centre, which is a very lively area. It was great to be able to park the car and walk about. Our room was lovely and quiet with en-suite bathroom, TV, tea and coffee stuff, all very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. We had the full Irish breakfast each morning. You won’t need anything else to eat until dinner time! Mary was great at organising everything and making us feel at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit Galway. Loved Galway City, Very relaxed place.

Very nice rooms and hot breakfast was great! Hospitality was amazing as well. Rooms have shower and bathroom in each suite, very quiet place not loud during night time. Short walk to city center for some great pubs and shops. Also short walk to the bay to catch a nice view. Very happy with our stay, stayed 3 nights and when we come back to ireland we will always been looking forward to staying here!

I stayed here whilst attending a wedding and Mary could not do enough for us; both her and Charlie were so accommodating. The rooms are spotlessly clean and breakfast varied. The property is central and takes about 5 mins to walk into town I would definately recommend it and am going to stay again shortly

Mary and Charlie were absolutely wonderful hosts. Upon arriving Charlie kindly greeted us and showed us to our room. The room was fairly typical of what I would expect in a B&B. The location was great. Easy walk into the heart of Galway, but separated enough that it was quiet at night. Each morning there was a continental breakfast, and Mary would welcome you, and bring her homemade brown bread and offer scrambled eggs. She was also kind enough to call and schedule a bus pickup just down the street for our trip to the Aran Islands. I would certainly return if I am ever in Galway again.

Mary and Charlie have a great B&B in Galway. We loved our 2 night stay at the Prague House. The location is great--close walk to the city center. and other neighborhoods. Our room was nice and clean, well decorated and even had wash cloths, an unusual find on our trip :) The best part of the B&B is Mary. She's a great host and very knowledgeable. We loved our breakfasts--scrambled eggs, fruits, delicious cheeses and the homemade brown bread. Boy, oh, boy, were those cheeses good! A perfect spot for our stay in Galway!

We had a wonderful stay of almost a week at Prague House. Location could not have been better for easy walking access to Galway's tourist areas. Also good location for our day trips by car out to elsewhere. Mary is an excellent host - charming and full of suggestions and information; don't hesitate to ask. Charlie makes great scrambled eggs.
