I cannot recommend the Armorica strongly enough - the accommodation is clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. But it is the restaurant that will bring me back - both dinner and breakfast superb. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. And they are truly dog-friendly. Highly recommend.
We arrived here after our car breaking down just outside Galway. We were very lucky to find this little B&B which were very accommodating. Facilities were clean and very comfy bed. Breakfast was good, only let down by the eggs being a little underdone and watery but overall we were happy with our stay.
Really liked this lovely Oranmore location, we stayed here as a couple with our poodle dog. Great to see nothing is a problem, staff very pleasant, really attentive , restaurant food was really good. Breakfast lovely. Again thanks for a lovely stay. Seamus,Katie & Louis (dog)
Great to have such a wonderful local restaurant and looking forward to visiting again soon.Good food choice along with the specials. staff are really friendly and excellent. We enjoyed the ambiance and highly recommend Armonica.
My husband and our family dog Otis stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. We could not fault this wonderful establishment. They were VERY accommodating with our dog. We ate dinner and breakfast here and the food was sublime. The best rib eye steak I have ever had and a breakfast omelette that was the equivalent of eating fluffy tasty clouds of loveliness. The fact that our dog was allowed to lie at our feet and dine with us just like at home was brilliant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Whether you come here for breakfast, lunch, dinner, for a drink at the wine bar or stay, just come as you have to experience their 5 star service. Everyone just did their utmost to make sure you have a great time. Highly recommend and we’ll be back.
We are just back from a two week stay in Oranmore. We traveled for personal reasons and just needed a convenient location. Everything at Armorica was above our expectations. Without exception, the staff was friendly, polite, and attentive. The room was clean with plentiful hot water, clean towels and bottled water for the asking. We found the excellent restaurant reviews for Armorica to be spot on as the food and coffee are marvelous.
My husband booked this accommodation for us for NYE for 2 nights. I was a tiny bit apprehensive as we pulled up but I have to say, the man did good!!! Christina showed us to our room earlier than the official check in time. The room was nice but we travelled with our Cavalier and she sleeps in a decent sized crate and I was concerned the room offered would be cramped and asked for a larger room. We were moved with no issues at all to room 1 which was perfect for us. This is a genuine dog welcoming place, we were able to bring her into the restaurant section that night in a discreet area with no issues and were offered the same at breakfast. She's actually fine to leave in the room but it was honestly a dream not to have to be paranoid about having her there!! We ate dinner last night here, the food was amazing and the service relaxed and unhurried. Duck and ribeye was cooked to perfection and we were both much too stuffed for dessert! I am currently sitting in the corner of the restaurant with a bottle of wine, the dog at my feet and have just been given a couple of dishes of nibbles! Honestly, whether you do or don't have a dog with you book here, with that special personal touch they excel in you won't regret it!!!!…
Our 5 days stay was more than pleasant with very kind and professional owners and staff. Great choice and very good quality of food and drinks, with accent on wines. Live jazz music on Thursday's attracts local people. The owners are collaborating with the local art community and exhibiting works of local artists. Clean and nice rooms with all amenities. Free WI-Fi, TV, hairdryer, iron, kettle, etc. We highly recommend!
Just home from a fantastic meal with friends all our meals were sublime from crab mussels scallops and pork belly to the special of rack of lamb( best ever) didnt have room for desserts, but my advice is get there now hottest restaurant in galway.
Amazing stay, great welcome from Natasha, beautiful room one of the nicest on our 2 week trip around Ireland. Wonderful restaurant with fresh food cooked by French proprietor chef. The attention to detail in bedroom and restaurant is excellent - it’s the little things such as warm milk for morning coffee, herbal tea and bottled water in our room & the nightcap! Looking forward to returning and sampling more of the beautifully cooked food.
