Kylemore Lodge is in the most stunning location, at the foot of a mountain, overlooking a lake, across which Kylemore Abbey can be seen. The house is an old farmhouse with beautiful big rooms. We had one at the front of the house with a view over the lake and mountains. The bed was very comfortable and we slept incredibly...

My husband and I had reservations for 1 night accommodation and upon arrival felt very uncomfortable in the house. The lady who greeted us never said hello or asked for our names, just walked us up to our room and left. The rooms had no locks and were very old with no phone service or WIFI. We felt as if...

During our three weeks in Ireland we stayed at 13 BnBs. We'll rate this remote place as one of the little better accomodation than our average experience. Very kind and helpful hosts. Two nights in spacious rooms with open fire. No TV or WiFi in rooms. Bathroom is to share, breakfast okay. Yes, we would recommend a visit when being...

At Kylemore Lodge (careful, there’s also a Kylemore House B&B) you don’t see great scenery, you’re a part of it. Kylemore Lodge is situated in a beautiful location, opposite Kylemore Abbey. The lodge seems to have a lot of history and is also a sheep farm, it was lovely to see the herds up on the hills. The B&B is perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway, there are beautiful lakes and hills all around and its an...

Kylemore Lodge B&B is in a tranquil scenic setting. Many b&b’s are situated close to the road however this is set back across a lake. As you would expect in a b&b, you are staying in a person’s home – using their extra bedrooms. There’s only a shower available (no tub). Breakfast is in a lovely sunny dining area. This...
