Honestly I don't understand how this hotel is less than five stars. Welcoming is an understatement when you open up the bar. They loved me from the jump. Continual service in the carvery is paramount. Theses guys rock!

Visited pub twice after performances of "Big the Musical" in Bord Gais Energy Theatre (BGET)- lovely traditional pub and serve a great pint of Guinness. Attracts a nice clientele of varying ages. Pub is on 2 levels and appears to also be popular with some of the performers from the BGET I brought visitors from the UK to The Ferryman...

Great value hotel, if it's not heritage listed it should be. Rooms are simple but impeccably clean and comfortable. All the staff are lovely and very helpful. A bit of a walk to the main part of town, but we were going on a bus tour that left from just over the river so it was perfect for us.

Selected from a cast of many when it came to a quick visit to Belfast. Very obliging owners, no problem with an early booking in. Very comfortable room indeed. Plus point was the view over the quay and the river , minus point was the constant road noise which ceased for only a few hours in the middle of the...

We visited the Ferryman for drinks after performing a show in a nearby theatre. I had to clear empty glasses from our table three times. When I told the bar man this he became very angry and aggressive to the point that I thought he was joking. But he was serious. He then ordered myself and a friend away from...

I never poo-poo some where on one visit, if I don't like the place I'll give it another shot as everyone has bad days etc. I have been to the ferrie man about 3 time and every time has been awful. we were a party of five having food, our food was under cooked and cold when we brought it...

I had an overnight stay here recently on business in Dublin. This essentially is a real Irish pub located on the quay a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the capital city. The best element is the proximity to the centre and you get a very good pint of Guinness here. After that it gets into old fashioned...

Great location for shows in bord gais or 3 Arena. Lovely views over Liffey and a good buzz in the bar.Bedroom was grubby , dirty carpet and in need of redecorating. Breakfast was a poorly presented fry and cold coffee. Would not stay again.
