This hotel is very cool, the bars, roof top restaurant and all public areas are stunning. Food very good both dinner and breakfast, Beautiful bedroom with outstanding Marshall amp for MP3. However I stayed from Thursday to Saturday and on both nights music was pumping out from what looked like the open smokers area part of the hotel. Think went...

The rooms in The Dean are lovely, modern and very spacious. Sophie's Bar upstairs offers a nice rooftop to begin your night before you head out to town. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room was fully equipped with anything you need for a couples stay. However, as a couple staying I was disappointed with the double bed being...

The staff are so friendly and attentive and will do anything for you. The room was lovely and very spacious. Shower was great and a very comfy bed. We were there on Sunday night and didn't hear a thing all night. Monday night was slightly louder, but it was people noise no music or anything! The hotel is also in...

We stayed for a two night break in The Dean and we both really enjoyed it. The check in was fast, friendly and efficient. The HiFi room we booked was comfortable and had great extras like the record player and the Nespresso machine! The bathroom was well appointed with a wonderful shower. Some reviewers have spoken about the noise and...

The hotel itself was generally good, the staff polite, the decor better than average, the food tasty. The one main quality you hope for when staying away is a good nights sleep - be very aware that this is severely lacking unless you like loud music as your lullaby till 4.00am! Really disappointed as it could have been so great!...

This hotel is in a pretty good location and the design of the rooms and common spaces is really quite beautiful. I book a business rate room and got a room on the fourth floor which was spacious and well appointed. All sounds great. But the night club next door was very very loud and got no sleep until 3am...

I stayed in the Dean hotel for a girls night away that was organised by my friend Dean Flanagan (thanks for the Prosecco Dean!). It definitely delivered, it is so handy for walking around the city - close to everything including public transport. The hotel itself is boutique style and very cool. The bar on the top floor is the...

Lovely hotel but the noise from the bar areas is inescapable until at least 3am. I should have guessed from the earplugs provided in the room. Ruined the stay which is a shame as it could be a great hotel. The hotel needs to be more upfront about the noise disruption. It is basically a night club with rooms so...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We love to work, to play, to eat, to drink, to dance. So besides our sleeping places, we've got The Dean Bar, The Blue Room, The Loft, Sophie's on the roof, Everleigh in the basement. Everyone is welcome, it's an open house. You don't need to be staying at The Dean to hang out at The Dean: a seven am Clement & Pekoe coffee grab; a quiet corner to use as a hot desk and rotisserie for lunch. ... more   less
