Stayed here with two friends. Easy check in /check out. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. It is a little walk to the ‘busy/tourist’ areas of Dublin but was nice to be out the way. About a 10-15 min walk to temple bar.
Hotel is in a great location within walking distance of all the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and catering area are super clean. Breakfast buffet was great. Fast wifi connection. I would stay here again for a family or solo trip. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Stayed here for 4 nights with a friend and her 3 children. The location was fabulous as everything we wanted was in walking distance. But the accommodation itself was far from ideal… There were 5 of us in one room. The room had no natural light and the windows looked out into the communal area. We noticed it was possible to see into our room from the communal area. so we needed to keep the curtains closed at all time causing the space to feel quite claustrophobic! We arrived on the Monday and housekeeping did not enter our room until Thursday! This was after we requested the room be cleaned! To say it was cleaned on Thursday is also questionable…. We noticed fresh towels had been placed in the room, cups had been replaced but surfaces had not been wiped or bed linen changed. Front of House staff were fabulous and if it wasn’t for them our stay would have been horrendous! They always greeted us with a smile and willing to help us as much as they were able to. Manella is simply fabulous!…
Hotel is in a nice area of the city! Almost all the good things are in a walking distance. As a traveler, you want to make sure you are staying at a nice place so when you come back at the end of your day you can relax. Well, this hotel does it! The minute we stepped in the hotel, Mr. Kunal was very welcoming, helpful and very helpful. A true professional as he kept on trying to insure that we were having a good time at the Maldron hotel. He went above and beyond to make all our rooms next to each other and kept on making sure it s and all the other guests are happy. If I were To recommend this hotel to anyone, it will be because of Mr. Kunal professionalism then because of the nice hotel rooms and the location.
Hotel was lovely, good location, nice staff. We didnt have the breakfast so can not comment, but had pizza's late in the evening which was a nice touch after our pub crawl. Would defo recommend, we had lots of families there at the time so think its suitable for just about any one.
A great hotel to stay in Dublin, easy walk from the city centre, but take a taxi if you have a suitcase, if you are using the airport buses, as the drop off's are along the river. I pre booked, so breakfast was included in the cost. Enormous breakfast with seconds if you want, great food and drink choices. All Staff were very accompanying and wanted you to have a great stay
Booked a hospital stay as my mum had a check up after major surgery. Whilst booking advised of the importance of an hour early checkin and with wheelchair access. Room on arrival as requested when making booking wasn’t ready. Waited an hour, after chasing as we had a Dr appointment. I asked for assistance to help me with luggage as I needed to push my mum in her wheelchair. Reluctantly staff member brought bags up after me. I couldn’t open the door nor would the stay open ling enough to push my mum through the just wide enough bedroom door. The staff member knowing and seeing I was alone and stuggling left the luggage outside our bedroom whilst seeing my mum in wheelchair. Not a word! I was dumbfounded!! Having worked in hospitality myself, I honestly have never seen anything like it! The door doesn’t wedge open, so taking my mum in and put of the bedroom is a challenge and down the narrow corridor. We were going to extend our stay for a further 3 more nights. We won’t be now. 2 people staying in a tight room apparently for a wheelchair with 1 towel. Apparently im to drip dry! Very disappointed, we won’t be staying here again.…
The Maldron hotel met and went above my expectations. Here are some things that were great: - front staff was welcoming and helpful - the room was clean and nicely kept up - the room was large for European standards - bed was very comfortable - the bathroom had a nice big tub - there were several USB ports around the room - hotel is in walking distance to MANY restaurants, grocery stores, bus stops, and the Busara Station. We were able to take a train to Belfast by walking to the train station, and we took a bus to Trim by walking to a bus stop just down the road (mater hospital; 111 bus) - there isn’t a laundry, but a laundromat is about 10 minutes by foot - it is a bit less than 1 mile from the Dublin Castle - the breakfast buffet is delicious with many options - it’s within walking distance to the river - it’s in a nice area of town. I highly recommend the Maldron Hotel.…
I was there 17-19 June from London, for my Hen Party. The hotel was immaculately clean and the beds were super comfy. The bar area was nice and a little seating area of sofas were great for chilling. The buffet breakfast had lots of choice including hot and cold food, cereals, yoghurts and pastries. The staff were AMAZING! It would be great if you could pass on our praise of the high staff Adam and Stahish (not sure of spelling, sorry!) They were absolutely amazing and such fun to come back to at 3am. Professional yet so friendly!!
Would highly recommend this hotel, clean modern rooms, excellent location not far from the main attractions, breakfast was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. Thank you for looking after us this weekend ❤️
