Stayed here for two nights. The location was perfect and sat just at the end of temple bar. Meant it was a very quick walk into the heart of temple inn. The hotel had stairs and lift access. There was always somebody on the main entrance that always opened the door for you and was very helpful. Check in was simple. Our rooms were not ready as we arrived before 3pm, but the hotel offered to store our bags which was really helpful. In the lobby there is free coffee and tea making facilities and also some pastries and biscuits. The hotel offers breakfast which is 7-11am but we actually didn’t take that as part of the booking. The hotel has 4 floors. The rooms are nice. They are well equipped with a mini bar and a safe. The safe is free and you just enter a code of your choice to use it. The mini bar is not expensive although there is a Tesco express next door so you might choose to buy water and food etc. the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. A nice big shower and you get too key cards. There is a cleaning service which you just put a sink on the door before you go out which tells the maids they can clean the room. In the reception area they have alcoholic drinks too which you can buy and there is always somebody there so 24 hours which is great. The staff were all smiley and welcoming. A lovely stay and certainly recommend this hotel for anybody wanting to stay close to temple bar.

Visited Dublin temple bar district as an after Christmas treat , picked temple bar inn as it looked like an ideal location , and it was perfect even better then we had hoped . The hotel was at the centre of every where we wanted to go , so everything was a short walk
Or we jumped on the hop on buses ( which are excellent with hilarious drivers ) we arrived really early at hotel 10.00 in morn so as check in wasn’t till 3 we asked if we could put our bags in till later , but they gave us our room as it was already free . Which was a result , well happy , we we’re offered complimentary tea coffee water in lobby any time if day , also in our room . The hotel was lovely very nicely decorated modern and really different . Breakfast in the morning was a feast with everything you could want , we were both too full to try the cakes and muffins after our cooked breakfast and fresh fruit .we could not fault this hotel , even the toilets had all free deodorants cotton buds and ladies things they need in emergencies , I thought that was soo handy . we could here the bars from our room but we wanted to be in this area so wasn’t expecting any different and it didn’t stop us Sleeping it doesn’t carry on all night like some place abroad. Temple bar was our first Guiness stop from dropping in our bags and it’s only a few pubs along rd . the bar had a live Irish band really good atmosphere and getting busy and it was only 10.30 in morning , brilliant . Loved every min of our stay , would 100% go bk and recommend hotel . Also soo easy from airport , got dropped at a bus stop and could see our hotel down ally 😀perfect 👌🏻

Had very low expectations of this hotel , it was cheap to book and above a Tesco express! However , once inside it is lovely, very clean reception area , great staff (helpful and friendly) , complimentary coffee, cookies and pastries. But still thought the rooms would still be like a travel lodge , however again so surprised , rooms were great , very clean , very comfortable bed, great shower all in all a lovely hotel , only issue was there was only two plug sockets in the standard double room (however when we checked out was told I could have asked for an extension lead for my various gadgets) . The hotels position is in the middle of everything , so close to the great temple bar pubs, live music and the river . Only issue was the aggressive beggars but that is clearly a problem with the city and not the hotel . The hotel does have 24 hour security also which is great and they were very friendly too, we had breakfast at the hotel one day and wished we had had it all the days we were there , very reasonable at 15 euros for a full buffet of everything you would want , the others days we had breakfast in various cafes which were more expensive and not as good ! All in all a lovely short break , thank you temple bar inn staff :-)

Booked for 2 nights commencing 1st February 2020. Arrived at the hotel at 3PM, very easy to find and easily accessible via the airlink bus from Dublin airport. Lovely welcome with the staff wishing me a happy birthday on arrival. Given room 126 on the front, room was a little smaller than I expected but was well laid out, nice and clean and had hair dryer/fan/complimentary toiletries. There was even a little box of chocolates and a birthday card, lovely gesture. Unfortunately the night before our trip out house was flooded so we arrived in Dublin having only had 2 hours sleep, we ended up going back to the hotel around 11pm which was earlier than intended, our room was a little noisy due to the bar across the road, we booked this hotel as we wanted to be in the temple bar area so we understood that it may be a little noisy. Went to reception the next morning to ask if it was possible to have a room on the back as we were shattered, the staff at this hotel literally could not be more helpful and understanding. The lady on reception advised us to bring our bags to reception and we would be able to have a different room when we came back from our day out. Moved to room 316, much quieter and the room was just as lovely as the first.

The coffee machine in reception is a lovely touch, as is the complimentary sweets on reception and I'm sure i saw fruit too. We didnt include breakfast in our booking but did go and have breakfast on the last morning, great selection of hot, cold & continental. I wasnt keen on the sausages but with all the choice it's hardly something to complain about!

I would definitely stay here again, the service is 10/10, EVERY member of staff I encountered was polite and helpful. Lovely to have a gentleman on the door which meant access late night wasnt an issue ( which I have found to be a problem in other hotels in Dublin)
Thank you for a fab stay and making my 30th birthday weekend a great one.

Me and my friend recently visited Dublin for a girls weekend. When searching for accommodation we wanted somewhere in the heart of it all and a place to just rest our head. We settled for the temple bar inn being that it was in the heart of temple bar and the price for Friday to Monday was fairly decent. On arrival the security instantly welcomed us at the door taking our luggage down to the reception area for us. We arrived early at 10am and check in wasn't available until three according to the booking information. But during check in she announced are room was available early for us both which we were super happy with making us able to take our luggage straight to the room and then head out to explore.

The room was light, clean and everything we needed to just rest our heads at night. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much of an issue even when arriving back to our room at 2 in the morning and we couldn’t work out how to shut the window someone instantly came home to help with no trouble at all.

On check out we were able to leave our luggage with the front desk and they even printed out our boarding passes for us.
I would absolutely stay here again if ever in Dublin it was a lovely hotel!

I stayed for three nights in this hotel, I chose it for the fair price and location. I had read some reviews saying it would be noisy however the sound of the music from the local bars and associated noise outside went on till about 3am and the volume meant I wasn’t able to sleep. When I did eventually sleep I was awoken on all three occasions by the sounds of those cleaning the streets and clearing rubbish in trucks at about 4am. Although the hotel is pleasant at a decent price be prepared to sacrifice your sleep.

Dear gingebelle, Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We are happy that our location really drew you to the Temple Bar Inn. We are so centrally based in the cultural quarter of Temple Bar. Unfortunately, this area is a hive of activity and noise can be unavoidable at times. We do have back facing rooms that are usually quieter. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards Naomi

My wife and I have returned to this hotel for our second stay , it's right in the heart of Temple bar and stone toss away from the Liffey .From the warm welcome by the gentleman tending the opened door on a cold and windy day to friendly helpful reception staff . The room although not palacios was plenty big enough for us two . Great shower , fresh towels and coffee on our return after breakfast .The breakfast is a bargain at 15 euros , also allowed to take away fruit, muffins etc for later , more than enough to see you past lunch . For a short stay this hotel is perfect .

This hotel is great, staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the security guards. It is in a great location in the heart of temple bar and I found it walkable to everywhere I wanted to go. The rooms are very well equipped , they have tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a fan should you need it. I didn’t have breakfast but the room for it is lovely, as is the whole reception area.
There is a Tesco right next door and a very nice Thai restaurant the other side of the hotel.
My one problem and this isn’t the hotels fault, is the bar across the road that plays very loud club style music every single night until around half 11 mid week!

We came here for 3 nights over new year and paid for the upgraded room which is very spacious and modern. We went out every night and so it was the perfect location and hotel for what we wanted and are leaving very happy. We asked to check out half hour later which was accommodated for and we appreciated greatly.

However, if we had been coming to Dublin for sightseeing and just the odd night out, our room was on the Main Street itself with very loud live music from the bar opposite at 11pm and I wouldn’t have been happy. So, it was absolutely perfect what we wanted, it’s above a Tesco’s to get things you need, they bring ice to your room on request, comfort bed, plenty of tv channels and access to minibar. However, if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay/go to bed before midnight, this certainly wouldn’t be the place for you, or at least ask for one of the rooms facing the back!

+ Location
+ Tesco Supermarket is just below the Hotel
+ Petra from Croatia and the Lady from Sardinia at the Reception are very friendly
+ Cleaners are also greeting in the morning
+ Breakfast is like at a five star Hotel, I didn't miss anything
+ Our window grip was broken and we called the reception, next day it was fixed

- the matress was a bit too soft for my taste
- it was not possible to hold the shower, it was assembled at the ceiling

Make sure you get a room on the 4th Floor to the backside. Our room was 421, pretty good.

We paid 269 € for two nights in a twinbed room including breakfast. Good price.
