Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an exceptional hotel for business or pleasure! I had a great time and every single employee was kind, professional and caring about their guests. Breakfast was great, good coffee, which is important. The property is well located, lots of shops and restaurants around and I felt more than safe walking around. I like that it is not in the center of Temple Bar and all the noise. It is quiet at night. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bed was great. Those complaining about the air conditioning probably don't know to keep a key in the slot on the wall by the entrance. Mine worked great, and I am one who needs a cold room. The room is well appointed, with everything you would need for a great stay. There is a fridge, espresso maker, kettle, robes, safe, slippers and an array of electrical outlets, there is one American plug, and there are USB plugs, which is nice for those who forget the adaptors. They offer two free bottles of water - this is a really great touch. I didn't use the fitness center but I did use the Spa and it is amazing. If you can treat yourself, do, because Irene is the one of the best massage therapists I have ever met. She gave a stellar massage. The spa is very tranquil and a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. All in all I would definitely stay here again, it is great!

I was travelling with my girlfriend to Dublin and we decided to stay over at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, which is part of the brand I work in. The hotel was remarkable, the rooms extraordinary and intact, you could say this is a must see! I just need to mention the amazing welcoming we had from MARIIA and STEPHEN at the reception, they were so profesional and kind, ready to help with anything we asked! Even when we left the hotel the next day they made sure we would come back soon :)), such profesionalism from their part! Later on the night when we came back from a long day, I've had the privilege to meet LUKASZ and NIKHIL, which they helped us with tips for the next day also they granted us a small request which we really appreciated! Huge credits to them, amazing people to meet! The following day we decided to eat at the restaurant, I would say that was the best idea we've had that day because of some amazing people at the restaurant! Huge compliments to CAROLINA, SANITO AND JOSTEN for looking after us, they treated us so special and you could tell they really know how treat their guests! All making conversation and making sure we've had everything we need! Also big compliments to the chefs, the food was delightful! Cannot wait to see eveyone again soon, thank you Radisson Blu Royal Hotel!

The kindness of the staff, the great size of a standard room, the bed quality, the equipment in the room, the bath room with both shower and bath, the view… all these contributed to a great journey at Radisson.

Breakfast good, bed good, room good. What's going on with the air con, won't stay at a constant temperature then there's the hotel bar, told its open till 12,then being asked to drink up and leave at 11:50.Not just me but everyone, one man didn't have time to take his round of drinks to his table of friends before being asked to leave, the bartender was still pouring his drinks. And it wasn't the bar staff it was the men from reception making themselves busy and ruined a good night. I would love to see what they would say in their local if they were asked to leave 10 minutes before last orders while the bartender was pouring their Guinness. What a shame that for their behaviour we won't be coming back here again.

I did not end up staying. This hotel uses air fresheners throughout the building. Even in the lounge, it is strongly in the air and is not conducive to enjoying a meal. Fortunately, they allowed me to leave without charging me after I checked in. One hour in the hotel and I had a headache.

I would have given this place 5 out of 5 stars had it not been for one hiccup. I had informed the hotel in the advance it was a booking for my husband's birthday and the reservations agent said they would put a treat in the room to mark the occasion. When checking in, the lady did not seem to really care about us but just wanted the job done, there was no asking what we were doing in Dublin, was there a special occasion etc. When we checked in to the room, there was no special treat, nothing. I did write to the lady and query this and she apologised - later that day someone came up and left a dessert treat but I shouldn't have had to ask. The hotel is well located, just a 10-12 min walk from Temple Bar. Tea/coffee making facilities are in the room, as well as a safe. Sleep quality was great.

Dear SarahI487, Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. Unfortunately there was a mix up as you received a complimentary early check-in. Our usual system ensures that all treats are left in rooms just before our standard 3pm check-in time to ensure that all food health & safety measures are met. Due to the early check-in this did not happen for your room, and for this we do apologise. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay, and hope to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes, Sarah

We came in the evening, thursday night, and the first man we met, was David/Davies. A man with at big smile in his face, always there, and super helpful with everything. Our room was nice. Since we came late, we ordered food in the room. I asked for at ham sandwich, with no cheese. Of course, when the food came, I got a ham and cheese sandwich. The next day, we went out for lunch, and when we came back, at 4pm, our room was still not cleaned. We then went for a drink in the bar, and hoped that our room was cleaned when we came back at 5 pm. It was not. So we went out for dinner, and the room was cleaned when we came back. The next day, our room was cleaned early, but we did not have any towels or clean glasses. But, everyone in the reception was nice and helpful, and the hotel has a perfect location. Walking distance to the city.
