I had high expectations but the room I got was definitely a lot smaller and darker than expected. The bed was incredibly comfortable & the bathroom a huge bonus. Staff were friendly and kind. I think was a lot of money to pay for no breakfast included and the TV was incredibly difficult to use- but these are minor things. The carpet in my room did have a few hairs which was to be expected with the type of carpet it is but for the money it’s disappointing.
Sincerely caring atmosphere, beautiful room, city centre, 200 restaurants Review of Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin Pending review My family stayed in the Raddison Royal Hotel for more than a week: 15 - 23 March. I am so very grateful to Madelinе for hosting our Ukrainian family. Also, special thanks to Kevish, Alexander, Xavier, David and others. People who work here are very friendly, sincerely caring, kind and with a positive attitude. I felt it even during every breakfast when I received a smile from the staff. A positive vibe at the start of the day is excellent, if you know what I mean. What have we visited around? - We were lucky to have a Saint Patric Parade just near our hotel that week. - More than a hundred restaurants are just around the corner in the Temple Bar region and many shops in the local shopping centre. See Card Gallery for a lovely card. - Around 7 minutes walk to beautiful St Stephen's Green with lakes, birds and playground. - Beautiful St Patrick's Cathedral Room - we had a beautiful room on the 6th floor with a view to the South of Dublin. You can enjoy it from the wide balcony. The room was quiet and cosy—the bathroom big and with marble. The personal coffee machine even with de-caf and hot chocolate options! WiFi - was vital for my video calls. It was great. My family had a great time. Thank you to everyone who works at Raddison Blue Royal hotel and contributes to such a sincerely caring atmosphere. You remove clouds during dark days. Thank you for your service.…
We stayed 5 nights and loved this hotel. Very central and in a quiet location. Staff all very friendly, breakfast lovely, made me poached eggs every morning. Rooms cleaned beautifully every day. Reception staff knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you all very much
Roland at the front desk was amazing! My family and I had just travelled from the US to Dublin. We were exhausted from the long, overnight flight. When we arrived at the original hotel that we booked, we were told that our room had been cancelled to house refugees and they had no room and no suggestions on where to stay. Here we were in a foreign country with our children and no safe place to stay. We called several hotels and they were all booked. We walked into the Radisson hoping there was something available. My daughter was so tired she fell asleep in a chair in the lobby. Roland went above and beyond and found us a room for the night, discounted the rate to match what we would have paid at the other hotel, brought us bottles of water and fresh fruit. We are Radisson customers for life!!…
If a human gets to read this do one thing for me. Go have breakfast and watch the staff at work. They need serious training. They have zero intrest in the job, never smile, don't do half the work they should be doing, badly dressed and presented and have no manners.
This hotel is nice located to a lot of areas of interest just 10-15 min walk, a lot of pubs close by, the area is quiet far away from the center yet close with just few min of walk. The rooms needs some new carpet had a lot of stains but it felt clean, the bathroom pressure was great, I arrived early and they check me in didn’t have to wait the was awesome.
Hotel is much improved since I was here three years ago - I stayed in a room that apparently was renovated in the last year or so. It was attractive and modern-looking, with numerous electrical outlets, both regular and usb. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Dinner was excellent. I chose the European breakfast, and there were plenty of choices for that. The only small issue I had was a slow-draining shower - water would have run into the bathroom floor if I had taken a longer shower. (Shower was a walk-in with a low pan-style bottom. I will definitely stay here again - the convenient airport location is also a plus.
I came here with my partner for my birthday. We spent one night from the 4th to 5th June. We only used the Chancery restaurant and breakfast in bed services. We have been given a late checkout authorisation at 2pm the next day. All aspects of the hotel, from service to rooms was absolutely amazing. I did not offer perfect review for 2 reasons: 1. The duvet had slight dark marks at a corner that looked like dried blood or some other hard to wash substance 2. At the Chancery, my partner and I were in a deep discussion and got interrupted to ask us if everything was OK. While it is only a small thing, timing remains key for these interruptions.
We stayed here for a mixed business/family trip. It’s a very nice hotel in a great location, within walking distance to many sites and great restaurants. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and large. Breakfast buffet was good. Housekeeping was a little sporadic. Overall, a great stay.
This hotel was initially a little difficult to find by car but was worth it. Lovely reception by staff member Elena. Room was clean comfortable and in the morning breakfast was excellent in choice and quality. Able to walk to concert and very central without the noise. And the car park was excellent value.
