Initially booked this hotel on booking.com because it advertises parking. After a nonrefundable booking, I emailed to confirm and ask about the parking etc. I was than told it was actually paid parking (15 per day). Very unhappy, spoke with booking.com and told it was nonrefundable, so decided to go with the hotel. Arrived, was given my keys to my...

I didn't have high expectations when I read that this was hen party central and that many of the bathrooms were shared. I have to say we actually had a very pleasant stay. The room was tiny and very basic but they had made an effort with new curtains and cushions and the bed was comfortable. We were there over...

I want to make it very clear that I don't feel the hotel is a perfect place for families or for romantic stays. However if you are away for friends' birthdays, hen/stag parties etc. then this is perfect. The rates are fantastic and six of us all got to stay in the same room which is great. We had a...

This hotel suits me very well. What I don't require is a Leisure Centre and Spa, Fancy Bars and Restaurants etc. What I do require is a clean bed, a shower and a central location, all of which the Kildare Street Hotel offer. It may not be five star but, then again, not many are. Their prices are certainly not...

Was there at weekend for the rugby .Was very expensive for a room that only had an oil filled electric heater to heat the room which broke on second night. The hotel needs major revamp. On the plus side the food was lovely as were the staff and the location very central., but will not be back

The hotel room was nice and clean. The man at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. We had a shared bathroom, which is not ideal, but was reasonable considering the low cost. Having a shared bathroom did not cause any difficulties (there was a sink in our room). The hotel location is in walking distance to stores, cafes,...

I was there in a Quad Room with my family and that was HORRIBLE. The hotel is old, smell humidity ( in the room), everything is broken and dirty and the worst ! Very noisy! I was in a room above the pub and a disco... Noises guaranteed until 5am . Add to this the noise of the buses... The...

First the positives. A great location and lovely staff. Every member of staff I asked anything of did their utmost to sort it. Good and free WiFi. The negatives. Sadly these outweigh the positives. Firstly there is no lift so carrying bags up is a difficulty. Secondly and this is the real killer...the Nightclub. Staying a Friday or Saturday is...

Excellent value for money. I paid £35 a night and stayed 3 nights. Guest rooms very warm and comfortable. Nice selection of teas / coffee and biscuits which were topped up every day. Room facilities included a hairdryer, ironing board and there is a iron on request from reception. Bathroom toiletries were plentiful and of a good quality. The Blarney...

We just needed a base for a night's stopover in Dublin before we flew on. Pros: It wasn't very expensive, fairly clean, staff were friendly and late checkout. Cons: The toilet didn't flush, the mattress was very hard and sloped into the middle, fiddly shower and everything pretty battered and dated. Still it was okay for one night, close to...
