Lovely quiet estate, great location for shops parks etc., fabulously comfy and cosy homes, all conveniences and equipment for a home from home. We stayed around Christmas and the lovely Christmas decorations (and tree!) were a fantastic touch, couldn't have felt better looked after, really great levels of service too. Thanks!
As family we stayed in two houses next door to each other. From the minute we arrived to when we left we received the highest of attention. The houses were superb; clean, tidy and modern with generous 'breakfast basket' awaiting. In such a convenient position we were able to access the city with ease, whilst local shops and restaurants served all our needs. When three of us went down with flu the day following the celebrations our host was brilliant helping us as we needed to reorganise flights and check ins and Airport Assistance. Nothing was too much for her. We would have found it very difficult without her help.
What can I say? For us (a family of 2 adults and 3 kids) Brookman town homes was our first accomodation experience in Dublin as we were relocating from overseas and it was Great! Naomi was fantastic at every level, booking us a 3-bed at last minute while we delays with the plane tickets. They understood our family situation and the communication flow was always fluid. She helped us with all the child needs (plates, high chair, cot, etc). Also when we needed to print and get proof of address, it was all sorted out by her. The weekly cleaning service was really nice too!. Highly recommended area, close to the city centre and well connected. With brookman every detail was taken care of! Thanks!!
We have been staying at Brookman for our Irish visits for 15 years now and don't ever plan on changing. If you are looking for a warm welcome, friendly staff, convenient services (Dublin bus, DART, AirCoach, shopping, restaurants, and Herbert Park are all within easy walking distance) and lovely accommodations, this is your place! Every town-home is well furnished, clean, simply lovely. In addition, there is a breakfast waiting for you in the kitchen when you arrive. And if you travel with your kids, as we have, ready food is a big hit! For us the nice hot tea is a welcome site after a long journey! The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The sitting room is spacious and comfortably furnished. We have always enjoyed our stays with Brookman. There are simply no downsides here! Enjoy your stay. …
We stayed here as a family of three in one of the three bed town houses. Not only is the accommodation superb and immaculately clean, the management team are second to none. No request was too big or small and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. We will definitely stay again and we have recommended staying here to our friends. It's perfect for weekend or longer breaks for couples or families and the location is excellent. Donnybrook is just a short walk into the city centre or you can catch a bus at the end of the road.
We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very comfortable stay. Positives: - A very warm welcome from the staff. - The apartment has everything you might need from hangers in the cupboards to plenty of clean towels to an alarm clock in the bedroom to a pizza cutter in the kitchen! - Kitchen is well-stocked including tea, bread, butter, a wide selection of jams, milk, sugar, a variety of cereal and biscuits. - Very clean - from the bed linen to the towels, all linen was white and spotless. - The bed was very comfortable. - The lounge was relaxing with cosy sofas and TV with lots of channels. - The shower was powerful, easy-to-use and hot water was plentiful. - Excellent location - close to town (walking distance but lots of buses also go) and there is a decent size Tesco just a few minutes away. - Strong WiFi throughout the property. Less positives: - None! A great place for a short trip to Dublin but also for a longer stay.…
We needed accommodation for 7 family members including my 88year old father and grown children for a 2 week period over Xmas 2016. We booked 2 Townhouses and it was a great success. These Townhouses are in a cul de sac estate of mainly owner owned townhouses. A few are rented out by Naomi and Thea for long/short term. All negotiation was done via email and the girls were very quick to respond to any questions regardless of the time difference. Location. Situated an easy 10 minute walk to shops, pubs, cafes, eateries of all sorts, dry cleaners, bus line, inc aircoach bus , ATM, other B&B's and a 30 min walk into Dublin city if you don't want to take bus or taxi's. Townhouses. 2 or 3 bedroom homes available. We rented x2, 3 bedroom homes. 2 storey with bannister rail and accessible for my elderly father. Warm house with heating that could be adjusted to come on at various times of day/night. The girls had gone to some effort to put up festive Xmas decorations. Well stocked kitchen with additional cutlery, crockery, glassware etc available. Thea and Naomi provided other utensils, crockery as requested including assisting with additional serving platters etc for a big family function. They went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and were flexible, friendly and accommodating. Kitchen was stocked with some basics..tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, cereals, jam packets laundry powder, dw powder. DW, WM, Dryer, ironing board, iron all in kitchen. We were given written information on everything available in the house. TV, DVD, WIFI all included in rate. Toilet downstairs under stairs! On one ocassion the WIFI went off. The girls provided us with a dongle until the provider could reestablish connection for the block. Upstairs. x3 Bedrooms. Main room has 2 big single beds pushed together to make a bigger than queen size bed. This room has a very small ensuite. Step up into ensuite then step up again into very small shower recess. Trifold door and difficult to reach temperature control. Noisy fan comes on with light. 2nd bedroom has a DB...can be x2 singles. 3rd bedroom has x1 SB. Bathroom on this floor has shower over bath with rail on tiled wall. Non slip mat available. Electric HWS is easy to manage. Lots of towels. If you stay more than a week, the apartments are serviced. Carpeted throughout this floor and on stairs. Mats, carpet square downstairs. A very comfortable, quiet, homely place to stay for 18 days What we liked the best. Ability to house all 7 family members together for a reasonable price in a homely environment rather than a hotel. Close proximity to amenities inc transport. WIFI What we liked the least. Beds were harder than we like, however Naomi and Thea offered solutions to this.…
We stayed in a 3 bedroom house for 3 nights and it was perfect for us. It worked out cheaper than a good city centre hotel, but with all the same comforts. Very well equipped, clean, quiet and comfortable. Even enough breakfast cereals etc for 3 days breakfast. The Tesco Express just down the road was perfect, and we had 2 lovely meals out about 10 mins walk away in Donnybrook. The location was great - buses (for airport and/or city centre) were regular and stopped just on the main road, one day we walked to the city centre which took around 30 minutes. Naomi and Thea couldn't have been more helpful before and during our stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to return and will recommend to friends.
We are five family members which stayed at Donnybrook Manor for two and a half months. From the beginning we've got the greatest service. Naomi was amazing, such an oriented customer service is hard to find, she welcomed us with highly friendly and professional attitude, every question and request got a rapid response. Coming from a long flight, we had “welcome” groceries waiting in the kitchen ,the kitchen was fully equipped with every appliance needed, The apartment was very cleaned and maintained. every week the cleaning stuff had a thorough clean which contained replacing the sheets and towels. The apartment located in great location -lovely grassy area all around,4 minutes walking for Tesco and bus stops ,3 kilometer from the center of Dublin. We had a five stars stay and we definitely recommend it for families Thank you…
It was a great stay for many reasons. To start off staff are lovely. They were very helpful during booking process & very welcoming on arrival. They did everything in their power to make our trip special. The house is in a very nice location. You feel safe plus in a friendly neighborhood. A good choice of shops inclusive of tesco metro just round the corner, a lovely bakery and donnybrook fair grocery outlet with a range of good quality products. There are a few restaurants but we only managed to try two. Bus stop is also a short walk ( less than 4 minutes) away but traveling by taxi is convenient if you are four to five persons. Taxi number was provided by staff. The house is a very nice with all the commodities you can imagine. Super clean. A good number of channels on the tv was also a bonus after a full day touring Ireland. The only negative I can mention is the shower in the main bathroom. We did not manage to regulate it. We used the bath and the other shower instead. We will surely return back and recommend it totally.…
