As a Hilton Diamond Member, this is one of the nicest Hilton properties out there. My wife and I had a pleasant layover stay whilst in-transit back to the U.S. I’d especially like to recognize the front desk staff for a fast check-in and check-out. They called us a taxi for the journey into Dublin and their service overall was great. The breakfast was equally good, with fresh pastries and other items. Thanks again for another great stay!
Just stayed in probably one of the nicest hotels in Dublin We stayed two nights and used it as a base to travel to Ikea and decathlon (which cost me a fortune 😉) back to the hotel from the staff to the food and out upgraded room can't fault anything here ,our room was spotless clean and very well equipped down stairs in the lobby the two lads and the woman were so welcoming and then to the staff in the restaurant too class friendly and always asking us were we ok ,and then the food even though it was limited what was there was 5star Would we stay again yes don't think I'd stay anywhere else in Dublin Management should be very proud of the staff
Great big room with a kettle, ironing facility, hairdryer… the staff , especially at the bar/ restaurant, was very friendly and helpfull. There is a big Tesco nearby where you can catch the bus for the city centre ( 2 € exact cash!) the shuttle bus made us waiting long time at the airport.
For over 300€ per night, I found substandard customer service, basic room and appallingly dirty bathroom. I asked at the reception for a converter (from European to Irish) and one of the agents started looking for it while the other (French accent) told him to stop because they don't have it. The agent who was willing to search for it was obviously junior and reluctantly had to stop searching. In the bathroom, I was speechless, that's why I made pictures. Shower towel had yellow spots on it and black marks of some sort. Disgusting. I showed the pictures at the reception during check out and they were apologetic-offered me a bottle of water - which I was already holding in my hand anyway. I am Hilton Honors member so I have seen many Hiltons around the world. This one is by far, the worse. Do not go.…
Arrived a day early, on the busy “Superbowl (for UK) evening”. Happy to find a room available at the Hilton with a convenient airport shuttle. All others in the city were booked up for a family of 3. Michael (Mikhail) at the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful. He ordered us a taxi to the city center to spend the day. We arrived at 7am and were able to store our bags. Our room became available earlier than the 3pm check in when we returned from the city, which was a blessing after a long day of traveling. Clean room and comfortable beds. Temperature control in the was perfect.
The good: location and proximity to Clarehall shopping center, bus #15 to downtown direct; size of suite was great; staff were friendly and very helpful; great airport shuttle service: The bad: the price; The ugly: room carpet and smell of mustiness; the bathroom faucet was broken; the shower leaked badly; the carpet was stained; dirt in the air vent- this hotel should not be a hilton
The lobby, bar, and restaurant were great, the checkin staff was very professional, but the room fell short by a few points. It was very attractive and furnishings were comfortable. It felt a little chilly, so I adjusted the temperature according to the huge sign posted next to the thermostat. Very nice of them to put such detailed instructions RIGHT NEXT to the thing so there is no mistake. After about 10 minutes, there wasn't any change in temperature, so I tried again. After the third try, I called the desk. I was told "It's been changed over to "summer" settings, so it will only blow more air if you try to adjust it." Ummm....okay. Also of the 10 or so hotels I stayed at in Ireland, this was the only one with wimpy water pressure and shower head. So I had to stand huddled at the end of the tapered tub in order to take my shower. How disappointing. It was not the best end to my trip! But otherwise, all was good, and the airport shuttle was right on time.…
Weary from 2 wks of travel, we checked into our 6th and final hotel the night before our flight home. The check in was quick, the room was comfortable with a soaking tub for me! In-room dining was available 24 hr and we took advantage of that and the bar selections for a nightcap. Free shuttle to the airport the next day was much appreciated! Improvement could be made in changing out the carpet (stained) for hardwood, and providing memory foam vs down-like pillows.
We stayed here 2 nights because of an early flight. We just took the bus into the city, which is across the street. They also have an airport shuttle, which is very convenient. The staff here is top notch, very friendly and helpful. They had a very good breakfast buffet. I would stay here again.
Visited here recently for a funeral The food was absolutely horrendous. Sandwiches, mixed with under cooked cocktail sausages, under cooked wedges and mini greasy burgers topped off with tuna wraps all on the one plate, yuk, it was disgusting
