We visited Dublin and Avoca House and it was the most amazing experience. Jack & Audrey are two great people who treated us as part of the family and gave great advice about places to visit, transportation and places to eat. The room was great, the food excellent and the talks in the morning & evening very fun :)) We...

Just finished a lovely three nights stay in this family run BnB and it was delightful. The location was close enough to the city centre and the rooms where a lot nicer then I was expecting, very clean, the only down side was the bed was so comfortable it was a struggle to leave! On my last day there was...

What a wonderful Hotel. It was really clean, felt fresh and the decor was excellent. The hotel owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was just what we wanted. Jack the proprietor even took us to one destination, as my wife was not up to walking. Then he refused payment for this. The breakfast was really...

We stayed at the Avoca for 3 nights whilst on a city break in Dublin, booking last minute after being caught up in the Lowcostholidays fiasco. We struggled to book via the hotel website but Jack was very helpful over the phone and agreed to hold the room for us. The B&B itself is set in a quiet residential area....

I have just spent a wonderful three nights at Avoca House with my sister and brother in law. Audrey and Jack were the most friendly and welcoming hosts imaginable - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast great. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Clean and very central. Good Irish breakfast. Clean room and welcoming staff. Reasonably priced. Would return. Take in the Guiness Brewery and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Walk downtown and take in shopping and eat at local pubs which feature music and sometimes step dancing around 9 p.m.

You can't do any better than the Avoca House B&B. I've been going to Dublin every summer for the past eight years, and this is by far the best place I've stayed. Jack and Audrey do everything they can to make your stay with them comfortable and pleasing, creating a sense that you are home. The beds are comfortable and...

Our family of three stayed four nights here. Jack and Audrey are great hosts who really made us feel welcome. It was like staying with friends. They were really helpful in suggesting how to get around the city and nearby towns. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The backyard patio is especially nice and offered a place to take...

Small B&B close enough to city centre, but no so close you can't get to sleep. Super friendly owners couldn't be more helpful, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the city they were able to guide us on best places to get buses, taxis, what sights to see and when, where to eat etc. We were a big group of friends...

One of the benefits of staying at the Avoca House B&B is its convenient connection to the Dublin bus system. The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk from the Avoca House. This system has you downtown in about 15 minutes in one direction. In addition, there is a bus from the same stop that will get you to the...
