We booked Andorra B&B to get a good feel of Dublin. We were greeted by Nuala and her Husband. They were so welcoming and kind, making us feel re leaved we had chosen the right place to enjoy our stay! Our room was so comfortable, charming, clean and all around lovely. Breakfast was exceptional and healthy. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy the best this B&B has to offer. Highly recommend it! 5 Star Treatment!
This B&B was the perfect location and had amazing breakfasts! It’s located in a leafy posh suburb of Dublin, directly across the streets from the British Embassy. The bus stop into town is directly across the street and you’ll be at trinity college in about 9 stops or 20 minutes or so. The bus stop on the way back is right outside Andorra, literally door to door service. We were two couples with one 11 year old and if you’re traveling with kids ask for family suite. Great local restaurants within walking distance as well. Tip: get a Dublin Leap visitor card prior to your visit so you can ride buses, trams and trains unlimited based on time you book in the card.
Nuala is an absolute gem. When we were planning our trip, I emailed her to ask questions about the accommodations at Andorra. She was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Andorra itself is charming, comfortable, and perfectly located close to the city center. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
It is a family run B&B with excellent hospitality, friendly and helpful approach. We have been contacted immediately after reservation via e-mail, transportation from the airport (30-40 min) has been recommended. Perfect location WRT transport; bus stop to airport or dowtown straight in front of the door, DART train 10 minutes walk, city centre 30-60 min. walk (depends where you go). Restaurants are nearby. Safe area. Owners are very personable hosts, breakfasts are delicious. Room was quiet, it had very comfortable beds. After long days of sightseeing it was a very welcome occasion to relax. Thank you very much.
Nuala and Fionan Clifford are wonderful hosts. Plus, the Aircoach 702 or 703 runs from and to the Dublin Airport literally to the front door of the Andorra. What an absolute boon for us!! Our son was arriving 3 days after us, and we wanted to make sure his transport was smooth. He arrived, no problem, and shared a room with us for one night. My husband and I stayed for a total of 4 nights. Breakfasts were filling and had a nice variety. The buffet-style cereals, yogurt, fruits and made-to-order eggs allowed us to "tank up" for the day. Another kindness--we asked Nuala about paying for breakfast for our son, and she graciously did not charge us. Prior to our stay, I had emailed Nuala several times, and she always promptly responded within 12-24 hours. I liked her before I even met her because she was so detailed, kind, and gave useful, helpful information. She proved to be just as warm and inviting in person. It was like staying with a kind aunt. Oh, I had debated about purchasing the Visitor Leap Card for 3 days for @ 20 euros/person, a great option. However, we were interested in visiting the local, historic sites in the City Center, which costs 6 euros/rt/pp. The Andorra in Ballsbridge is close enough to the city center, so transportation is very convenient. Once again, a wonderful stay.…
