This hostel is very conveniently located near the spire in Dublin (Hence the name). Beds are good, not a lot of outlets in the dorm, that I remember. Breakfast a bit weird, since there are more cookies than bread (maybe that was just that day?). Friendly staff. Check where you book, since price difference between sites can be quite big.

I spent a week here and nothing went wrong. Staff were wonderful, even when I came home and couldn't find my key in my bag they helped me, the kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were what you'd expect. The showers in the bathroom were good but every time you press the button there's two seconds of either too...

This hostel was a great deal and very conveniently located. Some locals mentioned that it's not the greatest part of town, so we avoided walking home late alone, but we never felt unsafe. The reception is stellar, they have tons of information and are extremely professional and helpful. The best service I've had at a hostel yet. Beds and bathrooms...

Great welcome when you first walk in with pleasant staff especially the cleaning lady Ivana and Matheus on night shift. They are updating their rooms and making them nice and colourful. Lamp and socket near to the bed and common areas dotted around the hostel. Warm water and powerful showers.Very central location as well. Will return to The Spire Hostel

Spent by myself 5 days in this hostel this summer. The experience was really cool! The hostel is in the centre of Dublin, in a very quite area. The staff is super, very nice people. I falled in love with the kitchen; I had the possibility to cook what I wanted in a funny context. I slept in the biggest...

Great location and really easy to find! Staff were friendly. Breakfast was toast, cereal, a fruit juice and hot drinks which was fine. We stayed in a double room which was below the standard expected for the price we paid. It had a wardrobe and mirror but the bed definitely could have done with upgrading. The mattress and duvet seemed...

Really great place! Good location, serious full on breakfast (eggs and everything), clean, friendly. What more could you ask for? Definately recommending this place to my friends. Looks small from the outside but quite big actually.

This hostel was worth the 13 euros per night. It had clean rooms, fairly clean washrooms which were tended to every day, and a large kitchen/ rec room/ patio. Staff were also helpful and let you store your bags before and after checkout. Construction outside was annoying but understandable.

The hostel is located on the North or "ghetto" side of Dublin and is nestled among creepy casinos and sportsbooks. I did not feel comfortable walking around that area late at night. It is within walking distance to Temple Bar and the rest of Dublin's tourist areas and is right next to a gigantic shopping area. Security is good, however...
