Ideal location for the centre of Dublin. The Lucus tram system is 2 minutes walk away. Its about a 10 minute walk to the centre where the main bridge is. The staff at the hostel were very helpful. The room we had was with en-suite....More
This is a very big hostel, so the downside is a bit of a party atmosphere. I was in a 10-bed dorm and there were constantly girls coming in and out at all hours, turning on lights and making tons of noise. I complained to...More
The hostel and staff are great. We were stayed for 10 days and everything was good. The breakfast is always the same so it will be good to suprise sometimes with other food. The rooms are always clean and one perfect thing; there is a...More
Probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. I had some issues with my booking upon arrival although but the issue was quickly rectified by the desk staff. I was given a private room for the first night before moving to a dorm, at...More
The room was fairly clean with bunk beds which slept 4. The shower and wash closet was also fairly nice, but with the annoying water system in which you must press a button for 20 seconds of water and then press it again for another...More

I saw a family when I was there and also older people. I am 47. Is it the best fit? Probably not but you are not there to pass much time in the hostel anyway. There is someone 24 hours at the reception. During my one night stay, i did not see drunk people in the lobby. I was expecting the worse and at midnight, I was the last one to arrive in my room of 4 and the 3 other guys were sleeping already. I was there at the end of June. There are rooms with their own bathroom. If you can book those as a family it is not bad. Note that Dublin is a party town.
